The elephant in the room is WHY do they still own us? What have they got out of this arrangement for 15 years? Some fans speculate that Rovers are so insignificant in their portfolio that it doesn't matter to them, but why would you keep a business that haemorrhages money and constantly needs servicing when you have no emotional or operational interest? As far as we're aware, they've never once entertained selling the club either. The only explanation that makes sense is that we're a handy foreign asset for "moving" money around and dodging taxes. -

Sorry, not the intention, but it's the same thing I suppose it's not new - Fergie banned reporters all the time if he didn't like difficult or what he felt were unfair questions but the difference is after he had calmed down he always rang them up, apologised, and relations carried as normal - until the next bust-up of course The point I was trying to make is the Ewood hierarchy seems so sensitive to any sort of criticism that it wouldn't be a surprise if Radio Lancs receives a similar ban to the LET. Presumably Ismael only has to say the word and the brains trust above him will act. This lot don't think - how can alienating the local media help keep fans onside when the club in its current predicament needs every friend and supporter it can get? -

No admission at all that we keep conceding goals and we have no chance of getting any points once we have one goal down. Whatever happened to any accountability for anything? Can see why him and Gestede have got each others back. Totally delusional comments on not losing any quality in the summer. -

The man is a walking, talking egomaniac. He is responsible for results and questions around why results have bombed should be answered. He just doesn't want to be challenged at all just like Gestede and Pasha. -

He isn’t delusional at all. He won’t believe it for a minute but this is how he is protecting his position with Suh-stede. -

It doesn't matter what it says in any book, to the people in charge at the club. They will go ahead with what they want, and to hell with what supporters want. I would suggest that if you don't like an item, then don't buy it. -

We didn't lose any quality is an unbelievable statement. So all the players let go in the summer we're rubbish is what he is saying. -
Is there any chance of getting a run of those done?

"At the moment the performance is consistent" Too bloody right we lose every week. "We dont have enough points as we expected. We should have more WHICH IS A GOOD FEELING." Guy's delusional. Possibly thinks he's bulletproof but the bit about the development aspect is probably for the owners in case they're wondering why we're sat 2nd bottom. -

Whoops...... You need to have a word with this Mike Jackman fella Parson. 🙂 -
Totally agree Parsons about your point on the Beauty of History evolving but here's the rub, incorrect info can suddenly become gospel,Chinese Whispers and nothing more. I am lucky enough to own a very rare copy of the Clubs official 'Grand Bizaare' Book dated 1895.This excerpt may be of interest to you, also note the year of our formation( I posted a thread about this a few years ago)...

Somehow we ended up on the precipice of that a couple of times in the last 3 years then look whats happened. Not backed then pulled to bits and that for younger or happy clapper viewers is why nobody has any hope left. There's nothing natural or cyclical about it it's largely manufactured due to the people running the club and those owning it. Anybody who doesn't at least acknowledge that regardless of where they stand in the grand scheme of things really needs to take a step back and look again. -

Usual Rovers MO these days. If they don't like a question, take their bat and ball home/doctor the response/ ban whoever asked the question. -

Think I saw something in Jackson's latest LT article before the pay wall kicked in that we are ELEVEN points worse off than we were at the same stage last season under Eustace. So it's both. Yes the squad's weaker but the Head Coach is infinitely worse as well.
