  1. Past hour
  2. They used to be available after a week or so. Just recently it seems to be anywhere between 2-4 weeks for some reason. There will be nothing worth viewing in there anyway. Hopefully Glen will come on and give us a decent recap when they have been published.
  3. Oh I know it alright 🀣 Was just thinking if he's going go. I can accept it albeit slightly disgruntled, but that needs to go on a striker more than anything really
  4. If you watch it on fullscreen on a laptop (and maybe zoom in), you can see him scoring a belter from just past the halfway line. Keeper wasn't even that far off his line, and probably should have done better tbf, but there are some top players who've failed to hit the target from that distance their whole careers. Kane has tried it a lot and I think only scored one or two. What amused me was the complete lack of reaction from the coaches on the sideline. I think it's the opposition's coaches, but still, you'd think nothing had happened at all.
  5. How he had the fucking balls to say that, I'll never know.
  6. Only if they handed their notice in. I think all of the U21's, so most of their current squad now, were paid.
  7. They have had no interest since they arrived 15/16 years ago , we were nearly relegated in their first season , after being 10th when they arrived .They achieved their goal , the season after ! We are going down !
  8. Rovers and Sheff Weds thrashing out a transfer deal. Can you even imagine?
  9. All pretty pointless and a waste of everyone's time isn't it? Yet they still expect us to pay competitive Championship prices to watch it. Roll up roll up Β£35 to sit on the Blackburn End against Birmingham!
  10. As much as I loved watching Speedie play, he was 32 when he left Rovers. I doubt that he'd have been able to replicate his form in the Premier League. A separate point but I've really enjoyed reading these comments. What an utter shame that the current climate of the club is in such a state that protest ideas, lack of season ticket sales, and what freebie is coming in are the main topics of conversation. Venkys out.
  11. I’m wondering if this is a typo or not 😁
  12. It’s not all bad - you’ve got next week’s court case adjournment to look forward to…
  13. Brittain looks like he's gone then. Travis next? Wouldn't surprise me if the replacement is already here (Alebiosu). Gestede is surely delighted to have Montgomery as backup to increase those Academy playing minutes from last season: - Transfer fees received doesn't get reinvested into the squad as per Gestede's previous comments (i.e. transfer budget is not impacted by player sales) - Venky's have probably not put a single penny into the transfer budget. Pasha makes sure it stays that way to collect his yearly bonus (maybe he gets a bit more now that Waggott is gone?) - We are reliant on slashing wages and selling players first before we can add anyone to the squad. All the outgoings (ending of loans and contracts) are the reason why we were able to pay a fee for the likes of Tavares, De Neve, McLoughlin and Alebiosu. - Contracts are not sorted/extended because any salary increase will have a negative impact on whatever transfer budget we're currently operating with - Owners know their business model would be laughed at if the club somehow miraculously were to get promoted to the PL. Why? Because the sheer thought of having to spend in excess of 100 million pounds just to be competitive (like Sunderland or Nottingham) would send them into a panic mode They have no interest in the club. They're not willing to spend. They have no ambition. They have no knowledge. They won't sell the club at a fair price. And to top it all off: club has an internal debt of roughly 120 million pounds towards the owners that they will never be able to repay regardless of how many assets they sell.
  14. It may have been missed but il ask again doesn’t anybody on here know how long it takes for minutes to be agreed glen Mullen said he was at the meeting with pasha in attendance and questioned him on loads of things I’m wondering what these were and the responses etc Glenn has been a big critic of the regime so I doubt he sugar coated the questions
  15. I don't blame people for wishing we were run like 99% of the rest of the football league, tbf. They'll be more than happy with the new lad, Duru and Kristi.
  16. Don't know how many times it needs repeating. Ditto if one of Travis or Tronstad leave.
  17. We wouldn't match other teams for wages.
  18. Absolutely, there isnt a chance this lot would have even thought of that though. Can play centre back very well too. This isn't true, they paid the younger lads to protect the asset.
  19. Just stumbled across this article in the Guardian. Don't have any memory of this game - was away at Uni at the time. I must have watched it on TV I guess. I do remember the Oxford match as was part of that rivalry we had with them that season. Blackburn v Manchester United: the Cup tie that made Mick Rathbone famous | Manchester United | The Guardian
  20. That would be fine except RG has admitted incoming fees make no difference to the transfer budget.
  21. Every Wednesday player is a free transfer, contracts expired due to non payment
  22. Go get Yan Valery at Wednesday as Brittain's replacement. 26, 6ft+, athletic, few goals and assists, Premiership and Championship experience, Wednesday need money desperately. Bank Β£2.5m, spend Β£1m.
