  1. Past hour
  2. We Shouldn't correct. But we know the Travis fee isn't getting spent so it will be a choice of a loan or a cheap foreign punt
  3. my team Toth Miller Hyam Wharton Ribeiro Travis Tronstad Hedges Cantwell De Neve Ohashi Tavares comes in for Travis if he isn't here or doesn't want to play
  4. Lets hope we are closing in on a right wing/sided attacking player given what Mafoumbi's account has done. I hope its someone who can have instant impact and play some part on Saturday game against Birmingham. Miyoshi was be very good but if its him then we should have got that transfer done weeks ago. A right winger signing should have been one of the biggest priority of us. On the Travis Situation, I'm not shocked that Eustace and Derby wanted him. Eustace and Travis were always close. No the contract situation should have been sorted before now which has lead us selling Brittain and Possible selling Travis if our asking price is met plus the fact he wants to leave isn't great. I always thought Travis might leave this summer with Brittain and Tronstad being the once to sign new contracts. Ismael confirmed Rovers have put good contracts offers to them. I don't expect Travis to be here come September which is disappointed but if he wants out then lets get the best deal and sign a replacement. I would be looking at Reading centre midfielder Charlie Savage from Reading. Preston centre midfielder Ali McCann or Watford centre midfielder Tom Dele-Bashiru. Who replacing Travis as Captain, I see 3 candidates, Sonny Tronstad, Scott Wharton and Todd Cantwell Before the window we deffo need another forward who can play up front but also wide. It appears that Leonard won't be part of Ismael's plans this season. Maybe another signing if Buckley leaves which I hope he does for himself and his playing career and a replacement for Pears if he does leave
  5. why do we need another coach? Ismael, Whitehead and Johnson are coaches, Benson and Renshaw as GK's coaches and Nacho Sancho and Adam Yates as fitness coaches. How many more coaches do we need?
  6. to purchase a ticket for saturday, anyone rovers fan wanting to pay on the day must be on the rovers database,as we`ve given birmingham 7500 tickets,**** your own fans and just cater for the away ones,is it any wonder noone wants to come to ewood anymore,****** indian parasites
  7. They've brought zubimendi in. I'd guess atm arsenal would see Wharton as a project player which is bullshit. I think he'd slot alot quicker into real Madrid's side
  8. Harsh, he's played two games and looked suspect in both. I'm not saying he can't improve- I bloody hope he does! He's a young lad in a new country and is clearly a bit nervous.. However, to suggest he's done more than Hedges in these two appearances is ludicrous.. Hedges, whilst he most certainly has his limitations has also had some cracking games for us. Once/if Axel actually starts playing well I'll gladly shift my opinion..
  9. Same people writing off Henriksson are the same people who wrote off Szmodics when he first came.
  10. im`e surprised arsenal ar`nt in for him as well,he`s a natural arsenal type player
  11. Real Madrid are interested in Wharton. He'd fit into their team perfectly. They've lost modric. He's the perfect player to play the number 6 role for them. His price tag will only be higher next summer
  12. Bellamy & Dickov were the stars of his team. The flying Finn scored 7 in 42 appearances. Couldn't trap a bag of cement. Are we talking about the same guy? Even Gueye will get that.
  13. They might need new professions when we drop into league 1 and administration.
  14. No way. Henriksson was a little rusty, sure. But there’s a player in there, he found more space in between the lines, threaded passes in behind, and looked more dangerous in 50 minutes than Hedges has looked in his entire time at Rovers.
  15. After last night's horror show, I can't see anything, but a Birmingham win. We were lucky yo get away with 1-2 it should have been 1-4.
  16. Good lad he’s bang on, I took my girls…9 and 13. Absolutely devastated that we got beat but resolute about coming again on Saturday and still shunned the guy who turned up at our house this morning delivering for Evri with a Burnley top on! My youngest actually began ‘wretching’ as he walked up the drive. I just smiled and thought..”My work here is done!”
  17. Not looking forward to our opening home fixture. Thanks Venky's, Rudy and Suhail. Congrats on your horrible season ticket sales too, in terms of new bums on seats. Well deserved. I'd suggest new professions for the lot of you.
  18. Did you watch the game last night? Axel was absolutely awful- makes Hedges look like Messi.
  19. What saves him is that henis a bag of laughs
  20. If it's anything like last night, it will be very quiet. We we were outsung with Bradford last night.
  21. Nowhere near good enough. A shambles of 4 minutes at the start cost us the game. First goal comes from Henriksson not tracking and marking his man in fact he wanders up from his defensive position. Michalski messed up there, felt for him after signing his new long term contract here. Gutted for him. After that we have a few chances and finally took once. Gueye should have scored at least once. Second half, I expected us putting more and more pressure on them but until the final 10 mins we didn't. That was disappointed. Ohashi with an excellent chance to score. Good save by keeper. Tavares was my man of the match and he looks very good. Wasn't impressed with Henriksson to be fair, passing when he should shot. the lack of quality right winger was very telling last night. Miller look a good signing and I was pleased for Scott Wharton getting there his first competitive 90 minutes. was there any spin in my post again Ricky Pal?
  22. Well be lucky to finish 7th from bottom, with this no fight in them team.
  23. No fight in this team, like some Rovers teams we've had.
  24. 💯 Even if Axel isn't a "Wide Forward, #7, or Winger" he certainly is an improvement on Hedges. Hendrickson probably touched the ball more last night then Hedges will in August.
