  1. Past hour
  2. Sums them up that the green shirt that is matching the borough’s colours (and they made a right song and dance about the link in the comms) didn’t have the coat of arms on it when released.
  3. I think it summarises how truly doomed we are if Forshaw walks into this current midfield, this team lacks so much quality. VENKYS OUT! PASHA OUT! GESTEDE OUT!
  4. It’s this seasons version of “Bradley Johnson false 9”
  5. A CB. Who would have thought this would be needed when you've lost 2 senior CBs, 2 others have bad injury records AND you decide playing 3 CBs in a game is a likely option.
  6. Yeah here it is. I saw some people with it on the home shirt yesterday and it is put higher up on that like where the players have it
  7. On the long throw in aspect it was frankly pathetic. Miller can regularly hit the near post with with some accuracy and pace. So the best header of the ball, McLoughlin was usually on the far post which nullified any danger we might have posed. I can't recall one attacking throw where we got the first contact. And our corners were generally poor too. De Neve took two corners in quick succession in the second half, one must about made it to the near post the other went that long it almost went out for a throw. Ventre really has his work cut out. I noticed he was prominent in the Technical Area for our set plays but it's too early to apportion and blame into him. He now has two weeks to improve an aspect of our game that frankly has been shocking so far.
  8. Nixon says Ismael wants 3 signings in January.. A centre back A striker A Tronstad replacement to take over when he leaves in the summer.
  9. Do you think what Gestede et al are trying to do will succeed? Though not sure what ‘success’ is supposed to be here? Not being in the third division?
  10. Not subscribed to his patreon so only seeing the 'teaser', Nixon saying we're planning on signing 3 in the winter window.
  11. Good,it won't succeed otherwise.
  12. Part of the project..he's their ideal man in situ.
  13. He, or anyone else, had no chance.
  14. The game reminded me of one from years ago late in the FA Cup under Appleton I think it was. We were playing Millwall (was it to reach the semis and a first Wembley appearance?) and we spent the entire game launching the ball straight onto Danny Shittu's head. Definition of insanity doing the same thing on repeat and expecting a different result. We must have had launched almost 20 long throws into their area along with around 15 corners without making first contact once. Derby on the other hand had about 3 corners and scored from one of them. Clueless.
  15. It's not quite in the category of putting Sam Gallagher on at RB then hooking him again 20 mins later but it's not good. What must the young CB's at the Club think when they see stuff like this happening? Wonder if they're in line for a hefty pay increase if they make a senior appearance?
  16. If he's a useful tool there's probably a job for him in the boardroom if he wants it. (Useful being to Venkys rather than us of course, the ones we have are certainly useless tools in reality)
  17. He's never quitting, he seems full square on behind the "transition".
  18. Don't blame him for not quitting. Easy money working for this lot when you accept anything they want you to do, and let's face it he isn't getting another gig at this level after this.
  19. When he joined we had Waggott and Broughton running the show. I've made my views on Waggott clear before and others don't rate Broughton but at least there was some facade of professionalism and footballing nous there. Within 3 months Broughton had gone, Waggott pushed aside and someone had parachuted Gestede into the top position despite having no CV or track record to warrant it. It has since become clear that Gestede is being employed to oversee massive cutbacks and a revolving door policy of predominantly foreign players. We are about as far away from what Eustace walked into as possible. Pretty reasonable to suggest that the goalposts moved and what he signed up for wasn't what ended up happening.
  20. Neither should anyone who didn’t quit after the shit show of the summer transfer window.
  21. Today
  22. Anyone who plays Ryan Hedges at centre half shouldn't be taken seriously ever again. Rubbish this bloke.
  23. De Neve is one of the poorest footballers I have ever seen. He can run at defenders and fool us into thinking its an asset because its been so long that we have seen anyone do it from that side.
  24. We owe players and managers nothing, and vice versa.
  25. Owes the fans alot. Would have shown a backbone and appreciation to the fans. Yes the fans. No I didnt boo him cos he made his decision and we moved on but that's doesn't matter its still annoyed how he left and lied to the fans when the approach was made. Yet he had no problems joining the regime tho
  26. Funnily enough that is also a club basically run by agents. I see a pattern here...
