  1. Past hour
  2. The new owners said they were 'delighted, proud and humbled', vowed to 'absolutely respect Jack Walker's legacy' and to make Rovers a 'truly global brand'.And it emerged the Walker Trust had negotiated a number of commitments with the new owners in a bid to safeguard the future of the club."
  3. if you stand still in professional football you`ll get relegated😩
  4. It’s just drip feed boycott currently though. They’ll be almost as many away fans as home fans tomorrow. It feels like it’s bubbling up a bit at the moment, though Travis is hardly elite, it’s the statement of your captain wanting out, and relentless club statements making us look amateur
  5. Aye yeah, Liverpool have had a right stinker there bringing in two quality full backs in Frimpong and Kerkez
  6. a full boycott is a great of protesting, but it`s totally unrealistic, sadly, you can`t expect everyone to suddenly stop going to matches,it will never happen i suspect the protests will mushroom this season if as expected we keep losing every week, whatever shape they take we just don`t know but there is nobody more cantankerous than a football fan who sees his team at the bottom of the league and losing every week
  7. I agree with this. Focus on the players that are there and want to play, not the other ongoings. all clubs have these issues, look at Newcastle with Isak or even Liverpool with Trent.
  8. Club has had that sinking everything falling apart feeling before but my gut tells me this is worse now.
  9. Very sad to read of Paul Round passing. As for that Rovers note WTF? They are obviously hiding something, shit scared and trying to force Ismael out of the club.
  10. It should be nothing but a full boycott now - or at least a statement like Sheffield Wednesday the other day when they stayed in the turnstiles
  11. It’s called having “ ambition “. The limit of our ambition is to stay exactly where we are.
  12. Blackburn Rovers @Rovers · 1h To ensure the focus remained solely on tomorrow’s first home league fixture of the season against Birmingham City and the squad available for selection as a whole, the club limited media questions at today’s pre-match press conference on matters relating to individual players. #Rovers remains committed to open communication with all supporters and will provide updates on individual player situations at the appropriate time.
  13. Yeah this is it 100% - the constant statements these days just shows how out of touch they are and how bad they are at their jobs. The one about Eustace just before he left was a classic - like you say they all read like a 6 year old having a tantrum
  14. On a sadder note, Paul Round has passed RIP
  15. I admire your positivity but I will be amazed if we don't finish rock bottom..
  16. More press statements than points
  17. I want anything that makes the chancers running this club to be asked questions in public. We are treading water (at best), it's not up to fans to justify the crazy world of football ownership but I'm confident enough people would fancy having a crack at this gig.
  18. If we do sign a player who will potentially be out for months injured to replace our captain then even for us that would be ridiculous.
  19. This on the same day as they block media questions on the future of Lewis Travis
  20. Am I the only one who couldn't care less that questions were limited today. I actually agree with the club on this one that the focus should be on the game tomorrow and the questions about Trav and others can wait until after the game. We all know the situation with Travis anyway and the other out of contract players. VI only gave an update 3 days ago! And quite frankly those questions are boring for everyone at this point. The club is broken, we all know that, but we have much bigger problems than questions about Travis being banned for one press conference.
  21. I’m fuming because they have the fucking bare face cheek to say in public that they “remain committed” to open communication, when every fan groups attending agree that try to communicate with them is saying it’s bullshit. We’ve got a first team coach / former interim head coach, who the the current head coach says has left. But the board cant confirm. “Open communication”. I can’t understand how people can’t see the problem here by looking outside the manufactured Travis ‘smokescreen’.
  22. in travis, brittain`s case ,they are both nearing 28 and need one last good 4/5 deal before they start to slow down, rovers are a bunch of ***** and won`t give them a bean more than what they are on now, thats the truth, you can`t blame them for wanting to move o
  23. The appropriate time being after said players have moved and the NDAs kick in to max effect preventing anything but the party line being presented… Not unusual in football but for it to be done so amateurishly is not normal
  24. There’s only two meeting scheduled throughout the whole season… and they have the brass neck to post this (today of all days)
