  1. Past hour
  2. I sort off agree there but Tuchel was short term appointment. I don't expect to see hm here after the World Cup, he will want back into Club Football
  3. It appears that Derby haven't offered Batth a 2 year contract offer given Nicko's comments today.
  4. We also want players with pace and Tronstad was good signing from the Dutch market. We have always look into the foreign Market whether its was Henning Berg or MGP or Roque Santa Cruz then Tronstad and Ohashi I agree that we should have some championship experience players in the squad and I'm sure we will but we are looking for some pacey players so its no surprise we are looking overseas for that. Karbgo being one with pace. Our team has lacked that number of years
  5. A popular spot for fans before homes games and a bacon sandwich on the way to coaches/trains for away games The Cabin on Blackburn Boulevard 1960's.
  6. The Jam - Man In the Corner Shop
  7. Official Football shirts are all around that price or higher yet plenty of fans buy them. The England Football shirt is now Β£65 pounds after being reduced from Β£85 PNE home shirt last season was Β£60 Man City home shirt for 25/26 season is Β£85 why was the Pink horrific Rev? It was very popular buy in the club shop and plenty of fans bought it.
  8. Pasha the Budget Slasher is in India meeting with the chicken overlords. We can close the thread.
  9. Gone to Chelsea apparently, There was talk of Β£700k coming our way but no idea if it's confirmed.
  10. I doubt we'll be selling many female shirts this year!
  11. Pasha the Budget Slasher is in India meeting with chicken overlords
  12. I know it seems to have been popular in general - I just didn't like it at all.
  13. Apparently Β£700,000 for the 13 year old
  14. I agree........ But......IF we played well and got knocked out in the semi final or were losing finalists, I wouldn't necessarily consider that a failure for his first tournament bearing in mind he would have either equalled or surpassed anything Southgate achieved at the World Cup.
  15. Tuchel has come in for us to win the world cup, that what he was hired for, that's his target
  16. Looks like Chris Wilder will be sack by Sheffield United owners who took charge of the club in December. They are bringing in Ruben Sellas from reports. Middlesbrough are set to appoint Rob Edwards as Michael Carrick's replacement. Bristol City are set to appoint Gerhard Struber as Liam Manning's replacement
  17. I am not bothered who we sign, be they cheap players, or expensive ones. If the Rovers are successful, they have worked. If the Rovers aren't successful, then they have failed.
  18. Today
  19. Wasn't that Jack Walker who said that ? It certainly wasn't me. So it isn't a paraphrase.
  20. Pink one has been rather popular my daughters wear it and is a hit with female supporters
  21. So are we actually getting paid Schaper? Even though he's 13? Not that it matters.
  22. The only thing that really matters is names on trophies. Everything else is ifs, buts, and maybes.
  23. Rovers selling youngsters as they don’t want to wait for compensation. Finneran still not settled and it’s been near enough a year, Tyjon will be next, Dolan comp will probably not be received this window. Ball ache trying to replace these players even if we intend to
  24. My opinion is that we're in the Championship by design. For some reason the Prem is forbidden ground, ditto League 1. When in League 1 we kept the squad and bounced straight back When in the Prem they sack Sam and appoint a clearly incompetent dick who failed at his first objective by blowing his brief at Wolves but then managed to follow instructions at the second time of asking. Also a nice touch to sabotage our League Cup chances at the same time. Since then we've had many opportunities to win promotion only to be shot in the foot by deliberate acts of sabotage by the owners and board (IMO), no money, admin "failures", good players sold or contracts allowed to expire. I have absolutely no idea as to the rationale but the Venkys really need us to be in the Championship and will move heaven and earth to keep us there. Consequently we won't have a sniff at promotion or relegation this season or any other season by design (IMO). Oh and Chaddy is a bot by the way (IMHO) - that's a joke Chaddy ... mmm but wait a minute ...
  25. If you are going to caveat the quarter final exit under Southgate with numerous reasons and excuses, could have gone either way, tight game, eventual finalist etc. Sven lost to Brazil who won the tournament and Portugal twice in very tight games decided on penalty with questionable refereeing decisions. Southgate's overall tournament record is good. Benefitted by considerable luck in terms of draws, but took advantage of that luck with an impressively consistent ability to overcome the lesser nations in knockout games, then came up short against stronger teams or even ones like Italy and Croatia who you wouldnt have down as the elite. Its difficult to compare tournament on tournament though. Tuchel has his work cut out because although he is a better manager, the squad is considerably weaker now.
