  1. Past hour
  2. Really hope De Neve shows something, not been impressed so far. Bad first touch, not sure what he offers, looks like another Hedges personally
  3. In my opinion he has more of the attributes to make him a great right winger.
  4. I think that the Dingles will have a fighting chance this year. Parker seems to be a more pragmatically minded manager that Kompany was, certainly defensively, so they perhaps won't get rolled over quite the same this time around. Here's hoping though...
  5. I dont think Mumba is anything special, often shunted around in various positions, usually either full back. We need a right winger who is going to play in that position and can give us a goal threat and some pace. Not someone who can be a jack of all trades.
  6. Could mean that De Neve plays inverted on RW to make room for overlapping fullbacks and the new RW does the same.
  7. These two would be amazing business. Won’t happen 🀣
  8. If a new RW is playing on the LW, that means Hedges is starting at RW. A sobering thought.
  9. Let’s have your predictions in the following categories: 1. Winners of the Championship Southampton 2. Automatic promotion (runners-up) in the Championship Ipswich 3. Four Play off semi-finalists in the Championship Wrexham ROVERS Birmingham Duuuuughby 4. Three relegated sides from the Championship Sheff Wed, Hull, Preston 5. Where will Rovers finish in the Championship? 6th 6. First Championship club to change manager (after the season starts) Rovers 7. Winners of the Premier League Leeds 8. A notable wild card prediction of something that will happen in the Rovers universe during the season (e.g. Donald Trump visits Ewood Park) A space ship lands in the centre of the pitch during the hame v Derby just as Weimann is about to unleash a winning boomer from 40 yards and the Venkys return to their home planet. The aliens grant us one wish and everyone wishes to wake up from the shitshow that was apparently the last 15 years and we are still in the Prem. Oh an I find Β£20 in my pocket.
  10. One point is that young fans will have no hero's to bond with if we carry on like this. They no sooner love a player than he's off. They adore Gueye. Gotta keep these kids onside.
  11. An easy one to start off with, as just the one player is currently away on loan O'Riordan - score/update - Game is live on Sky Sports + at 3pm Although seeing as we do not have many out on loan, and the friendly in the Netherlands may or may not be streamed. There are also a few games with former Rovers which will be on Sky Sports + at 3pm today if anyone is interested in keeping tabs (I have no idea if any of the below are fit/starting etc) Gent - Plymouth v Barnsley Dack & Cirino - Accrington v Gillingham Gilsenan & Sam Laville - Grimsby v Crawley Markanday, Fleck & McFadzean v Connor Mahoney - Chesterfield v Barrow Harry Chapman - Barnet v Fleetwood Jack Payne v Smallwood & "fans favourite" Jason Lowe - Colchester v Tranmere Callum Wright - Wigan v Northampton Butterworth - Walsall v Swindon Matty Platt - Newport v Notts County James Connolly - Salford v Crewe Callum Hendry - MK Dons v Oldham 12 noon Tomorrow Edun v Cozier-Dubbery - Stockport v Bolton
  12. Have I gone to bed and woke up and suddenly every thinks Gueye is Zlatan ! I wouldn’t sell him due to the lack of options and he’s a handy plan B, but talk of Β£4mill to Β£6million is bonkers. Ismael didn’t fancy him at all at the end of last season, and he didn’t start a game after mid-March.
  13. I saw the other day that Mumba has 3 offers from clubs. He'll get better offers elsewhere if we're one. edit - post was fake.
  14. Wrexham Southampton Coventry, Ipswich, WBA, Leicester Sheff Weds, Hull & Stoke. Seventh Stoke Man City Ainsley Pears buys some Rabbits, as there are no Hares left in the pet shop.
  15. Maybe they've an anniversary for the 26/27 season lined up, the tea ladies 40th anniversary. Get your shirts while there going.
  16. I actually think the scenario is they are prepared to sail as close to the wind as possible in order to keep the ship afloat but if/when the inevitable happens they'll find something else to blame it on.
  17. If some 'golden generation' England managers had heeded those words we might have won something again by now.
  18. Miller and Bali Mumba would cover RB, CB and RW
  19. I've always lived in BB postcodes, Blackburn born and bred.
  20. We haven't seen our new assembled team play yet. I watched them against Everton, and there were promising signs. If they get the results it might up the st sales.
  21. Maybe we could buy all our players back, if we're the next Derby.
  22. Could be the RW we need, versatile to play RB as well. would rather have a RW who could also play LW to be able to swap flanks if needed
  23. Could be an improved Brummie team.
  24. The Sky fa decide the kick off times, I prefer the original 3pm Saturday kick off.
  25. Plymouth see him as a right winger now. But I’d agree I still don’t think it will happen.
