  1. Past hour
  2. Cantwell won’t be going anywhere and whilst he did struggle at times last season there’s clear ability I’d even argue some of our players aren’t on the same page as him see him loads of times receiving the ball head up and no runners leading him to over complicate things or just play safe a fit cantwell with Kargbo and hopefully new rw I think he will do a lot better
  3. Personally I think it’s great. This club has a truly inspirational history. It has represented our town with pride and given us something to be proud of. It has punched above its weight consistently. It has won things in 3 centuries..how many clubs can say that? We have been represented by international stars, charismatic football artists and legions of honest hardworking players who probably represent us most of all. Someone in the club still feels that pride. You can call it cynical. For me it shows that our club, however difficult the current situation is, still has people that understand who we are and why we exist and wants to celebrate it.
  4. not really a val player????? more a ballplayer and not a full on 90 minute runner
  5. Would be no loss. Been incredibly disappointing. Who'd been daft enough to take him on high wages though?
  6. 1000% plants because ive noticed an increase on X suddenly engaging on my posts who are new faceless users n every post is slamming the fans
  7. Would there be a club willing to take a risk on Leonard's fitness and not breaking down (again)?
  8. I always dread sitting in the Riverside and watching the shooting drills. Next year will be complete parts unknown! Warning to home fans, duck for cover.
  9. ‘Look ahead with ambition’ What a bunch of absolute bellends.
  10. Watched the interview ...all i got was creating value for project players...factory model... no ambition , fight or fire to remotely trying to get to PL...effing sad and this our 150th year
  11. Yes; the proof of the pudding will be in the eating. Which is why it is so ridiculous to be falling at the feet of owners now when they haven't achieved anything other than a lot of noise in the media. Tom Brady was the GOAT in the NFL as a player; but as an owner he has still to cut it as the franchise that he bought into last year - the Las Vegas Raiders - had a terrible season.
  12. The whole of their 150th comms output - kits, STs have all been run through it from the guff I’ve seen.
  13. I know what he said, and I'd still be surprised. What the head coach wants and what the club does will not always sync up, especially at this club.
  14. Whatever. Have you even watched the series? The proof of the pudding will be in the eating won't it.

  16. "It's time to reflect on our rich heritage and identify anything else we can ruin, we continue to build for the future, by lowering standards and overheads, be grateful , repeat ad naseum" How much of that did Suhail get from ChatGPT?
  17. You must have the same as me I've had it a while and am perplexed he's never been even mentioned as leaving. Odd to me. Or no one sees him as any.good.
  18. Have a weird gut feeling there’s a chance Cantwell may leave now we have a replacement in the building
  19. Looking at the BBC website on 2 March 2015 there's a new owner of a Championship club saying ; "We will do whatever is appropriate to invest in the club to get them to the Premier League" The club was Sheffield Wednesday; the new owner was Dejphon Chansiri. You would have fallen for him as well. What matters is achievement; not loudmouths making extravagant claims to suck in the gullible and the naive.
  20. It has been an incredible turn from 6 games ago when you wanted Ismael out. (Which is fine) Now, you cant fathom that anything that unfolds isnt exactly how he has planned. Your opinions also follow exactly what he does or what you think he will do. Youve even created a scenario where you are justifying us going from publically saying that we want a striker, something you agreed with, because hes come up with a miracle fitness regime that will lead to a young lad with repeated recurring injuries coming in and filling that role. Its not a conspiracy to suggest that he might (im not saying this is the case) not get everything he wants in a transfer window. As I said, I suspect a lot of managers end transfer windows like that. Also on the numbers. 6 or 7 was mentioned. A new first choice right back was clearly not included in that. (Nor was Batth and Weimann leaving)
  21. Today
  22. I can see Ohashi getting more than last season, but 15+ is a big ask. Maybe it was unusual in this regard, but only 4 players in the whole league got that many last season. Its the midfield where the goals are lacking in particular though. De Neve, Hedges and Cantwell I would suspect are our first choices at the moment. Discounting 2 penalties, they got 5 between them last season. Miyoshi has been linked, if he signed he is not really a goalscorer either.
  23. Don't want to spoil it for anyone but when they lost the Vertu Cup Final to Peterborough, despite romping League 1, Wagner treated it like a death in the family and said they had to learn to win big games on the days they needed to win them. Then after subsequently clinching the League 1 title with an EFL record 111 points he was on the pitch telling the adoring fans "This won't be your best day under us - not even fucking close!" Can you imagine! Suhail would be on the pitch saying "We've been self sustaining this year. Maybe we can do the same next year as well!"
  24. He said "unexpected departures" perhaps some departures (Trav) are "expected"?
  25. Acknowledging mistakes, ay. They must be ‘very humble people’.
  26. Yes I have, Wagner is very much the businesses brains behind the club and Brady understand the sporting mindset. But Wagner has a very clear plan and is on the ground everyday.
