  1. Past hour
  2. FFS. No surprise on Carter but I thought we might get at least a handful of games out of him as he made the bench for the Derby game. Managed to pick up what must be at least a reasonably serious injury, as he has no return timeframe, during the 2 week international break. The lad is made of glass. We are constantly reminded of why every Rovers fan though the last minute sale of Hyam was a disaster wating to happen and here we are with just 2 fit centre backs vying for 3 places. Abysmal planning. Truly abysmal. He'd better not be sticking Hedges at fucking centre back again, blokes a clown (Ismeal)
  3. Just not a serious football club… yet they expect fans to cough up as if it was one.
  4. He took a pay cut to come to us. He's played alright in the Championship for a season or so. I don't think there's any doubt some club would offer him more money than we're paying.
  5. What about Baradji? On bench? Starting? Captain?
  6. That's Cantwell off, as many of us suspected. As for Carter, f*ck me. We've finally found a player who surpasses Grella as an all timer sicknote. But final mention to the masterminds that are Venkys, Pasha and Rudy. The decision to sell Hyam on the final day of the window without bringing in a replacement. I'm just speechless.
  7. It's getting to the point with me that I'd cut my losses with Carter and get rid of him. I rate him as a player but his unreliability supersedes that by a country mile. It's almost like a competition between him and Wharton to see who can be unavailable the most. 😁 But somewhere inside me I wonder if the managers cryptic comments about Carter are rankling with him. Expect Mr Aloof then to play Hedges as a left sided centre back as he is more equipped (using Mr Aloofs Derby rationale) to deal with Nobbers aeriel threat. I feel it's going to be a long night.
  8. How can you be positive about? Why didn't it happen when he was leaving Rangers?
  9. According to Ismael.... Hayden Carter has suffered a new injury and will be out for a while. Cantwell still not "ready". What a shocker.
  10. Today
  11. Yeah I can sort of appreciate that there maybe is an argument there to suggest that Scholes has been overrated and overhyped post retirement. I dont agree with it but theres a discussion there. To suggest that Wharton is better is clearly a new account on here to cause a splash. No way does anyone believe that.
  12. This is one of the dumber arguments that has been used on here.
  13. Again, shows the support is there....just need this Club to stop being Lions led by utter Donkeys.
  14. Mercury Rev - Pick Up If You're There
  15. Think there were a few dozen left in that camera side end block when they went off sale at 12pm… the other end block never went on sale.
  16. I'm positive he could walk into a contract paying him a lot more money than he's on here.
  17. Also goin with digital from the wallet. Can't expect us to get in with a print off that'll have the same code on
  18. I think one thing that can be said is Wharton and Anderson have the benefit of the game in England evolving in a way that suits their style. Scholes never really got to play as a deep playmaker until late in his career. Earlier he was played more as a number ten or (ludicrously, particularly for England) on the left which didn't make the most of his talents. His team mate Carrick also suffered from the national team not really understanding the importance of that role. He just wasn't picked at all when in reality his skillset was what was missing the most from the England team at that time. Tuchel gets it, and he is prioritising playing a natural deep playmaker over more experienced and lauded names, as he knows you need someone who can control a game in the middle of the park.
  19. Play some really nice stuff - get a few of these attackers in and amongst it.
  20. They are in administration but have been granted permission to sign 2 free transfers, as they have been able to present an improved cashflow forecast to the administrators. Cooper took one slot and both Nathan Redmond and Duncan Whatmore are training at the club, with the possibility one of them signs in the future. A bit mad that a club, which only a few months back couldn't pay their staff/players, can now present an improved cash flow forecast, whilst in administration in order to sign some free transfers (and pay their wages) Our hierarchy, have cut costs to the bone and would unlikely be willing to sanction the wages for a much needed experienced centre back, such as Cooper, who would possibly command a higher salary than either of McLoughlin or Miller. Instead we play Ryan Hedges at CB.
  21. KSN being a troll isn't exactly how you grow your viewer base.
  22. Still waiting to hear from him how Adam Wharton is ‘far better’ (which is what started all this, not if he was better or otherwise than other top Ferguson era players, ‘better’ being if he won some internal club bauble… anyone would think he posted a throwaway silly comment and has tried to deflect since).
