  1. Past hour
  2. Same. They got a headline story in the LT didn't they? Good publicity. People attacking them as "amateurs" are making personal attacks to avoid addressing the issue. Well done to the lads I say. If there were hundreds of "amateur "posters all over Blackburn the club would be shitting themselves. Its not too late!
  3. Easily our best central midfield signing in the summer, that tells you everything.
  4. The chances are, we are being spun yarn, which is a regular thing. It was reported as a mystery injury yesterday.
  5. He was, posted it on his instagram.
  6. That being said, we didn't sign Premier League Adam Forshaw, we signed an injury prone player who is past his best & was struggling to get into a Plymouth side who were ultimately relegated. But as Down South said, he is probably better than several of our other current options (TGH, Henriksson & Tavares at minimum)
  7. The Hull one is proof that even with significant restrictions imposed it is still possible to recruit well and compete in this league. The difference of course is that the restrictions imposed on Hull were caused by their owners' ambition and spending and he is doing his best to overcome/get around those and still compete. Our owners have used FFP rules and restrictions as a perfect excuse to cover for their own cutbacks and have never had a shred of ambition. If they, or anyone else, had ambition here much much more could be done.
  8. In VI post match interview he mentions Toddy (made of tissue paper) having concussion and will be back in 7 days. Correct me if I’m wrong but I thought concussion protocols were 14 days before returning and it starts at midnight of the day of the injury. So the warrior can’t play against Watford
  9. Forshaw has nearly 100 Premier League games under his belt. Not one of that lot you mentioned, or anyone we have bought in get anywhere close to that in there careers.
  10. I feel there is more to this, it’s as if the staff behind or above VI have come up with the 5 at the back and he is refusing to alter things as it’s on them. Why else wouldn’t you change? Or the bloke is completely clueless and is waiting for his next pay out.
  11. The banners are made by a fan who is not part of Coalition working group. I am very grateful that he is being proactive and getting the message out by any means. It is not a GCSE art exam after all. Wish more people would to the same.
  12. I'm a bit baffled by Alan Myers and his story with Rovers. I read his statement last night and that is the most 'extreme' he has been with his views on Venkys, going as far as to say that he thinks they need to sell the club and clear off (who doesn't?) but even still he's quite 'on the fence' with them, insisting that they mean well and want the club to succeed. I'm sorry but I simply cannot accept that. Granted I've never met the owners but actions speak louder than words and there is no evidence going back well over a decade that they genuinely do want success for the club. They might well give that impression in their private discussions and meetings, but anyone can say such things, it is what you actually do that matters. Again, I'm sure he would be a lot more vocal about things if it was Everton being run into the ground. I also find it odd how he was just 'invited' onto the board of directors back in 2014. Why? By Whom?
  13. I will admit, the last one did reduce me to tears. I have to putt his in perspective now and accept, that our club has been snatched away from us and deal with it that way.
  14. U18 v Coventry preview, 7pm kick off https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2026/january/21/preview--coventry-city-under-18s-v-rovers-under-18s/ updates
  15. I'm too old to cry if we go down
  16. Thanks. I think he might have been on the funny water, if he thinks we will stay up. It is pretty nailed on for me now and I can't see a way out.
  17. I think Myers has been away from the club too long to still be able to capture the mood. 1) A boycott won't have any affect on the players, in the last 12 months we've had very big crowds and very low crowds at various points and it doesn't seem to have any bearing on results whatsoever. 2) The fact that he has worked for the club and works in football generally means that he occasionally dips in and out of life at Rovers but that's not the same as being a fan and living and breathing the club 24/7, he doesn't quite get what it's like, which is not his fault as he isn't a Rovers fan. His statement makes out that it was really bad during their first few years of ownership and that since it hasn't been as bad. All fifteen years, barring promotion from league one, which we should have never even been in, have been awful for fans. He won't understand the pain and humiliation the owners have put us through, countless times. Not his fault, but he isn't speaking from a position of understanding and authority on this issue. He's not a bad guy. But he doesn't get it.
  18. It’s also an indication of how bad our transfer policy is when a team with a transfer embargo can do considerably better business than us. Hull are 4th and 3 points off the automatic places and weren’t allowed to pay a fee for anyone, they also had the wages capped but still did better than us in the window.
  19. The injury list is a smokescreen, like the refereeing rant. We have a squad of substandard players, all played to exhaustion. It’s a self fulfilling prophecy
  20. Absolutely on point Ian. We are in a desperate situation, with no end in sight. At least we won't have to face the clampets not season.
  21. Well, there was certainly no uptick in results since it was announced (which I imagine the regime would have been counting on). Suppose they could drop the dead cat of sacking VI (I know, I know!)
  22. Today
  23. The only thing left is a total boycott of home games ! Do not buy any season tickets in June !
  24. Do you have a link? I always thought of him, as a decent guy, but perhaps not.
