  2. a decision like that would be unpopular mostly, but communicate the decision to the players directly to them personally and properly, not lead it to the women head coach to do it. Also communicate the decision to the supporters by a video explaining the reasons why and what happens going forward. Rovers aren't proactive media relations wise and not smart. I have no interest in women football or watching Rovers Woman team but the decision is wrong one and axing it is wrong move.
  3. Might be that, but its a couple of months old https://www.livemint.com/sports/news/blackburn-rovers-fans-demand-venky-s-sell-the-club-after-years-of-decline-11741957414881.html
  4. So glad that Sunderland won. For about 70 minutes they were second best. But they have always seemed to be a team of rubbish first half but better second half. IMO they were the best team to visit Ewood this season followed by Sheff Utd. Good luck to them.
  5. He did say it, I posted the link where he said it. He has confirmed that he is staying for next season and will be backed with £100m plus other money from sales like Rashford, Garnacho(who it has been reported by well trusted Journalists that he is up for sale) and Mainoo.
  6. 1000% correct, I find its very annoyed how much some people rubbished what Southgate actually did but its been our best performances since 1966 and 1996. plenty of good centre backs like Stones Guehi, Tomori, Branthwaite, Colwill, Konsa tbh, I think Wharton would benefit from a summer of rest and being fresh for next season
  7. Well done Sunderland. Sunderland will used the PL money to buy potential and not waste money like Southampton and Burnley did but continue with what their plan has been since their owner came in. I think Bellingham will stay unless he has an offer from Dortmund or something like that. Wouldn't surprise me if Moyes at Everton went for him They got new owners and still second season PL parachute money but I think Hamer will have PL teams after him and I think Cooper and Souza might aswell
  8. I will be more reserve about such a judgement in the future
  9. The article on "mint" is interesting as having a piece published in India feels a huge step. Kudos to those that have managed to find an Indian journalist brave enough to mention Venkys, that's proven impossible in the past and might just be the final straw
  10. I believe the women's academy is still up in the air even though both team made national finals this year with one winning .
  11. Today
  12. I wonder if forest are refusing the money from Neville's employers ?
  13. Any news on who is beating us to signing Batth yet?
  14. So much for trampoline payments creating an impossible barrier to promotion That could have been us today rather than Sunderland but of course we preferred to sign Forshaw and Woodrow and force our manager out to Derby instead.
  15. Wheeeyyyyy sheffield staying down
  16. Obviously, days like these just make you hate Venkys even more.
  17. what a strange season for aberdeen,12 straight wins then a massive collapse followed by the scottish cup win,i`ve always liked aberdeen and dundee utd, from the days when both of them were giving celtic and rangers the right runaround
  18. Less likely now they've gone up i'd say
  19. Congrats to Aberdeen too
  20. Don't get attached to them - any talented ones will be snapped up for peanuts before they turn 17.
  21. So, we were winners at Wembley after all 😃
