  1. Past hour
  2. There's the Ryan Hedges we know. Hendrikson laid it on a plate for him - that's an impressive miss.
  3. Way to miss the point. Both have/had long hair and wore hair bands. One has been criticised for it, the other hasn't. ROFL.
  4. Yeah because there's been absolutely no difference between Tugay and Cantwell in his time here, the last couple of games excepted. ROFL.
  5. Didn’t mention either of the people you did. Not a particularly political person at all but one thing I do know is that the person who was actually chanted for is a racist and therefore those who go along with him are too.
  6. Winning 3-0 is brilliant, it was a fabulous team performance overall....but we are still allowed to call out poor pieces of play where players should've done better...it's ok to do that y'know, we are allowed. Go back through the match thread and I'm sure you'll find PLENTY of it even when the score was at 3-0. The 'having an agenda' against Gueye take was just....odd to me. Want nothing more than all Rovers players to be a success.
  7. But, in fairness, he stood out today, as being quite awful..
  8. Completely agree - even when the output wasn't coming off for him, he's always worked really hard whilst he's been here. I suspect some have preconceived ideas/opinions of TC, based on what they've read from Rangers fans / etc. I even read a derogatory comment on here the other day about him wearing a hairband. Like it ever mattered when Tugay wore one.
  9. No one actually cares. You could always start a counter chant for kier starmer if it bothers you so much. They can chant for whoever they wish. What about the days of ‘oh Jeremy Corbyn etc’ Either way its very tiresome
  10. One thing i have always said on here is that I dont think you can question Cantwells work rate. I think he leaves it all out there, sometimes everything he tries doesnt come off and he might drift in and out of games from a creative point of view. Often think its a lazy criticism to point out his work rate because he's classed as a "luxury" player. He has lead from the front and by example the last two games. Whether he is the sort of character to do that when we're in December/January and we have Saturday/Tuesday away games I'm not sure, but his work rate isnt and never has been in question for me.
  11. Brittain is a better footballer, technically. Alebiosu is a much better athlete. In this league of cloggers the better athlete usually wins out.
  12. I think Hedges should have buried the chance Hendrikson put on a plate for him, but it didn't warrant mentioning after a 3-0 win.
  13. I think people are a little giddy after a resounding away win. It's a long old season. I'd be content with our midfield options now if we retained Travis after bringing in Baradji. As it is I think we're still one short and we'll suffer when the real grind of the Championship season starts - those 2 match weeks will be a killer.
  14. Burnley player was sent off at the same time, so possibly fisticuffs at dawn?
  15. We could have done with him the pitch for the 15 minutes last week. He would get plenty of game time at Rovers!
  16. I singled it out because it was a poor piece of play, not because of who the player was...there is a difference. Doesn't matter whether he's been on the pitch for 5 minutes of 85, he should be doing better there. Do you disagree? I'd have said the same thing if it was any other player in that scenario.
  17. No bait - just of ALL the performances today you singled out one player who was on for 5 minutes...
  18. Just asked my mates the same question... They all said they'd prefer Brittain. I'm not convinced. I like the pace and physicality of Alebiosu.
  19. Today
  20. I really like him. Character, strength, can push on when needed and be a nuisance I think he has the edge over Brittain if he continues.
  21. How did our keeper get a straight red in the 97th minute?
  22. Football is so often win and lost by the slimmest of margins. We’ve had two questionable pk calls not go our way and one terrible corner. Those 3 plays are the difference between 7 points and sitting in 3rd and 3 points and in 16th.
  23. Very early days, no one relegated or promoted in August, but a couple of teams have surprised me. I'm very surprised with Preston, I expected them to really struggle. Their start to the season looked a nightmare on paper but they've played possibly their two toughest home games of the season already and won them both. I expected Heckingbottom to struggle and a lot on here incl me thought he would be first sacked. He will have bought a stay of execution now. At the other end Sheff Utd have also surprised me in the opposite way. Selles seemed an odd appointment and it may end up being a disaster. Talksport said that Wrexham's fans booed them off the pitch today for drawing 2-2 with Wednesday. Apparently they've only lost 5 home games since returning to the EFL, and they booed a draw. Wow.
  24. I do tonight as well. Got Arsenal -1 on the handicap.
  25. Love watching Leeds lose. My least favourite club in English football
  26. I like Travis, a whole hearted player, but would he get a game in the current midfield? Cantwell is a class act, and brilliantly clever at getting free kicks as well as contributing goals and assists.
  27. We've seen flashes, but he's absolutely been inconsistent. He's been excellent in the last 2 (today particularly so). It would seem that the armband suits him. If he can perform like that on a consistent basis this season, we finish in the top half as a minimum.
