  1. Past hour
  2. I assume you know we don’t actually have any ‘philosophy’ as Eustace was a completely different type of manager from style to type of players he wanted to young players to who came before (and after).
  3. In fact the local MP did refer to the club during the HOC debates on the Football Governance Bill. On 28 April he asked the junior minister to "join me in congratulating Blackburn Rovers on their outstanding community work, especially to support young boys and girls from all backgrounds in football ? Their commitment to inclusivity and development at grassroots level is truly commendable."
  4. Bunting very lucky yesterday
  5. The point being neither MP raise anything about Rovers ownership during any Footballing governance bill session or even culture, media, sport session. Why not try to the culture, media and Sport Secretary or sport minister to write to the owners? Even ask a question during PMQS and get the Prime Minister to comment on the record about it, even ask him to sent a letter to the owners?
  6. Your right Matty and its f'kin galling. Many did very well from their connection to this Club. We need everyone on our side.
  7. The ex-players don’t care, or certainly don’t care anywhere near enough. All more than happy to go into hospitality for the day, get a fabric cap etc.
  8. Nope. I was clearly talking Gueye and the fact he hasn't impact any game this season positively given the comment I quoted
  9. Yet again, we are back to this discussion that we had before.. A club management will decide what type of head coach who fits into club strategy/philosophy then go interview and appoint someone. So for example, you wouldn't appoint a head coach who didnt develop young players and bring them through if that's one of key part of your transfer strategy. The Forest situation was my point. You had a counter attacking head coach then you got rid and appoint very attacking head coach then with a number of games, you change again for a more pragmatic head coach. That's the sort of head coach that's suit the squad. Also your transfers, some new players have been like Hutchinson, Ndoye, Jesus, etc but they also sign players with a eye on next season and beyond.
  10. You make a good point there tbh,not enough ex Players or Managers speaking out against these Owners. We,could do with their help and support. Ewood is burning, talk about turning the other cheek, its galling to say the leaset imo.
  11. …yet he’d be the very first one celebrating new owners (after being consistently negative towards everything and everyone that ever tried to get us there).
  12. Still fully entitled to read and comment in the thread, Exactly, they expect people to put their jobs and family at risk, maybe certain people need to serious think about. Only in summer 25,some Burnley fans got banning orders for running on the pitch at end of last season. Of course I would be pissed off about another game being abandoned again, meaning another rearrangement probably another midweek game. What about the effects on disability or elderly fans? How is running on the pitch challenging the Rovers owners and senior management? Also why hasn't the Blackburn MP or Rovers fan Tim Farron asked a question about Rovers owners during a Culture, Media and Sport session or even a Urgent question. They never mentioned anything about Rovers during the Football governance bill. Also why does any ex Rovers player or legend never ever question the ownership?
  13. It's much more likely to be Ribeiro anyway. He let the cross pass him by, then inexplicably let the ball dribble out for a corner.
  14. Pleasing result for St Mirren.
  15. Today

  17. It has been confirmed that the attendance for the Oxford game, including away fans was 6380. That's how far we have fallen and given the club want to massage the figures, they are clearly concerned about it.
  18. I don’t think I can remember a time when both old firm teams were so poor. Remarkably it’s over 40 years since anyone other than Celtic or Rangers won the title so I would say it’s overdue!
  19. Agreed. Lets get it out there that the powers that be are so embarrassed about how the attendances have been decimated, that they are prepared to manipulate the figures.
  20. Yesterday
  21. He should be but by this stage none of us would entertain the notion of having de neve on the pitch to start with… Hence my (hopefully wrong) ironic comment 🤞
  22. Whenever those scumbag clubs from Glasgow get knocked off their perch domestically it's great.
  23. You really need to remove yourself from this discussion. Your complete lack of ability to comprehend what people are talking about and your constant simping for the club is tiring, distracting and totally fucking embarrassing.
  24. I don't think that Pickering is best suited by any means to playing as a wing back. But he is superior to alternatives in either position. He is defensively aware and decent on the ball. He wouldn't keep switching off like the useless De Neve who doesn't even offer anything going forward either. Pickering was a regular in a team that finished 8th as a wing back but still, it would be a case of not ideal, but a million times better than a bloke even a relegated Belgian side were happy to let go. Especially if Hedges is back, Pickering would be our best bet at left centre back. Ribeiro is crap and not only that, is very much a full back. Pickering has filled in at left centre back comfortably before.
  25. He started one game just after his loan started, & then came off the bench in the next. He was then absent from their squad entirely for the rest of his loan spell https://fc-utd.co.uk/players/joe-boggan
  26. There’s a good reason that two much better managers than Ismael have rated him. However, his swipe at De Neve post match went a long way for me to proving mine (and many others) theory that he cannot be selected for financial reasons.
