  1. Past hour
  2. We want nobody near this club who could potentially be a manager of the future, once the circus has left town. The club right now is setup to fail, at every level, why on earth would we want Duff, Dunn or Savage involved in the current climate? Henning Berg was a fantastic player for this club, a Premiership winner and he's soiled his copy book with some for his brief time here, but elevated his stature in our house by taking the rats to the high court, but you get what I mean I'm sure. These owners are poison and don't represent the Blackburn Rovers that we all know and love in any way. VENKYS OUT - NOTHING ELSE MATTERS.
  3. This is something people need to come to the realisation of... It's not "we" it's "they" These people are not business people (the owners), they didn't build their wealth, they're fucking morons, who've employed fucking morons, and honestly hardly ever think about the club, it's just a negative "asset" on their balance sheet. It's a case of more money than sense and fuck all interest doing what's morally correct with a historic football club, meaning either running it properly or selling up. I no longer look at these types of decisions as "we" as it's not us that have fucked this club up with shit decision after decision... It's them, it's their fault.
  4. They absolutely are. Their egos and levels of stubbornness are as big as their levels of incompetence.
  5. I’m getting told off here for constantly flicking between 3 premier league games, the darts and the racing. 😂
  6. Well that sure doesn't make any sense. Nobody is paying 2 million for an inexperienced kid who will cost a few hundred grand in 6 months. It's not like he's going into Arsenal's first team and helping their title charge, they've zero reason to rush other than beating other suitors. Which they'll probably be able to do anyway. And if they can't, they probably won't care all that much, not to the tune of 2 mill.
  7. forest full back neco williams decides he wants to be a goalkeeper😃
  8. No. As you say, they have tried to cover the ref by pretending he had given it for shirt pulling. In that instance, the call they have made is correct. But that’s not why he gave it. Incidentally, I think they scored from the free kick as well.
  9. Rovers went down despite Mowbray gaining a points average which would have had us 8th over the season. Just how people can blame him isn't justified.
  10. Seen the replay and any holding was absolutely minimal imo, they were both battling for the ball. Point still stands though. The referee gave the penalty for the tackle. They dont have the power to stop the game and award a foul they think the referee has missed do they?
  11. Which makes me doubt it very much. I'd assume that most likely the bid, if there is one, is nowhere near £2 million, or they've got wind of a rival bid.
  12. lol, savage would last about a week here,he`d be about as compatable with gestede as petrol is to a swan vesta
  13. I'm pretty sure he would. His only managerial position to date has been Shelbourne FC and he's been out of work for the last 8 months. He would jump at the chance to manage in The Championship
  14. Is he gone yet? We need to act fast.
  15. Do not bank on a win V Wednesday on Tuesday
  16. don`t think this roversxtra is to well connected, even pasha and gestede ar`nt that moronic
  17. We have to be realistic about the pond we’ll be fishing in. We ended up with Val presumably because no one better would touch the job, despite being in the play off position. The squad is far worse off than it was twelve months ago and whoever comes in has those above him dictating everything. So with all that in mind, would Robbie Savage be worth a punt? Has a good win % and the sort of Eustace type character that could bond the players?
  18. Went down with a points average that would have seen us 8th over the season to be fair, and one of the highest relegated points total to boot. Anything like that points return would keep us up comfortably from here.
  19. He was clearly tugging his shirt so there was a foul. He was just clever enough to let it go as they went into the box. But you’re right. It was a bad original decision by the ref where he gave the pen for the tackle, and had he not let go of the shirt when he did they would have re-reffed it with VAR to probably give a pen.
  20. I don't understand this at all. We have no interest in playing him regularly but are happy to lose £800,000 on him by not selling for no reason.
  21. Absolute BS decision in the Man Ure v Fulham game. Cunyha tries to go past the Fulham player on the right near the by line and the junction of the pen area. Fulham player clearly plays it out for a corner, great tackle. Ref inexplicably gives a pen. Goes to VAR. To save the ref's blushes, they invented some non existent contact just outside the area and award a free kick which the Red scum scored from. Are they allowed to do that? Surely the decision should be limited to penalty or no foul whatsoever and goal kick. Talk about re-refereeing the game. VAR is absolutely ruining the game. Or the way they are implementing it.
  22. Duff won’t come. It’s a poisoned chalice for anyone with a reputation to ruin. Whoever we get will be like Val, off a scrap heap hoping for one last chance. Lee Bowyer for example. Which is shit, but is where we are. Regardless, we might as well roll the dice cos we can’t be any worse.
  23. As someone else said, sack this clown and bring in Duff. We're going down, might as well make it entertaining (and uncomfortable for the hierarchy)
