  1. Past hour
  2. Yes I have, Wagner is very much the businesses brains behind the club and Brady understand the sporting mindset. But Wagner has a very clear plan and is on the ground everyday.
  3. Well, if you take the time to watch it, you'll realise that they acknowledge they made a mistake (a big one) in trying to get to where they wanted to go quicker. It didn't work, they rectified it relatively quickly and then some.
  4. Not a patch on the venkys two relegations in 6 years is it ๐Ÿ’ช
  5. No I answer your question first team and then I get this "I dont see 25 goals between them 2"(your comment), so what's the point continue this debate, cos you won't agree so what the point going forward and backwards all night, is there actually any point?
  6. Agreeing with mercer overall is pretty painful all except miller being like nyambe - miller has scored goals for hibs and Australia i also wouldnโ€™t be judging the other players yet time for that will be tomorrow at 5 and the next few weeks after but I do agree I think we need a striker and a right winger
  7. As has already been pointed out you came out with this gloom and doom stuff this time last year ahead of a season when we finished 7th.
  8. Come on. In their first season those "proper owners" got Birmingham relegated to the third tier despite all the big talk when they came in to the club. Let's see them actually achieve something.
  9. Think it will end up being a huge mistake not sending Leonard out on loan and bringing in another striker.
  10. Ohashi would have hit double figures and given he had played 6 months of the Japanese season before coming here, I expecting 15 goals plus from him this season after he been here 1 year, knows the league better and injury free
  11. Just like you going on and on without actually taking into account what our head coach wants and say. We need a quality right side attacking player and if we can sign Miyoshi I would be delighted with that move. that has to be main focus. Ismael has said if players leave they will be replace so if Buckley moves on, I suspect we bring in another midfielder. He has some decisions to make whether Buckley and Garrett will be in the 25 man squad registration or not. If not, we need to find them clubs for them and asap Brittain replaced by Miller who can play right back and centre back. Just like Henning Berg was for us back in the 90's. Batth and Weimann? did Ismael know that both wasn't re-signing here before he made that comment and Leonard or his replacement if loan out Here a thought, Maybe Ismael and the medical staff have set Leonard a different training plan and easing him back into the training since they returned for pre season or here a thought, maybe Ismael will bring in another striker when Leonard goes out on loan. Any loan deal need to give Leonard the proper game time we want for him. You always looking for conspiracy or disagreement at every opportunity aren't you? you enjoyed it and it wouldn't be you if you didn't. You don't have the scope to think Ismael has got what he mainly wanted and the profile of player he has talk so much about. I think Ismael is a straight talker, no bullshit person and he was very honest and open about why Brittain missed the Stanley game and what would happened. Maybe he is "pretty Comfy" as you say cos he is happy with our transfers and happy with his squad and him, Gestede, Owen and recruitment staff are all aligned. That would really upset you wouldn't it?
  12. Has anyone else been watching the documentary about Birmingham? I can't stress enough how impressive Wagner and Brady come over as. They'll leave our "We just want to be sustainable" approach so far behind in a year or two they probably might as well be Man City by then. Suhail, Madame, Balaji and the next CEO should be made to sit down and watch the series to see what proper owners look like.
  13. 'One more signing unless there is an unexpected departure'. Wow, think we will need to batten down the hatches. Frightening. Out - all proven Championship performers: Batth, Beck, Brittain, Dolan, JRC and Weimann (and 20+ goals between them!!!) In - with Championship experience: Forshaw (washed-up, we didn't want him at end of season and possibly only re-signed him out of desperation, looks like wont be fit until almost September) McLoughin (signed as a centre back but only played half his games for Hull in that position last season, strange if he's good - what we've seen so far, looks painfully slow) In - with no Championship experience: Alebiosu (strong and athletic but is he a footballer? Looks clumsy with little technical ability) De Neve (even the locals in Belgium expressed their surprise at this signing. Can run all day, as could Jason Lowe, but haven't seen much else) Henriksson (Could prove to be well worth the punt - scores goals, aggressive and wants to win) Miller (Aggressive and wants to win - a good start. Should be okay defensively but another Nyambe going forward?) Tavares (only started half the games for his previous club and actual completed 90 minute games could be counted on one hand - unconvincing and unproven) I think, unarguably, we start the season with a considerably weaker team/squad than we finished last season with. We might have names on paper that make a squad of 24 or 25 but a good number of them are simply not good enough or ready for the hurly-burly of Championship football. IMO, we are at least 3 players short - a quality striker, a quality right winger and an experienced goalie (if Pears goes, as seems likely, it would be folly to run with a young inexperienced Michalski as only back-up for Toth). All in all, an underwhelming window IMO - you simply can't replace proven Championship players of a good ability with, in the main, cheap and unproven foreign imports and supplement them with Academy lads who are either not good enough or not ready. ATM, feels like it will be difficult to keep out the bottom six.
  14. Thatโ€™s most certainly the case but footballers like wives want to feel wanted and appreciated. Once thatโ€™s lost itโ€™s hard to get it back
  15. Well saying it probably isn't going to win you or I any popularity contests but it has to be said Im afraid. If the minutes dont reflect what's said in the meeting then the meetings become completely meaningless. They just become a private argument between those in attendance and everyone else is duped into thinking all was well.
  16. Thanks , you can understand why i nearly choked on my chicken and immediately went "i dont think so, not on my watch". I cant comment on previous meetings, I wasn't there. Its clear the content now has far more than previous however doctored its been. Is an FF ban coming for me? Would they dare? Mmmmmm
  17. Steven Nzonzi signing for stoke after being released by an Iranian team was not on my bingo card this morning.
  18. As always when he can't answer it. You should do a Paxman "WHO exactly is going to score the goals? Name names!"
  19. This expectation that the strikers and midfield are going to just miraculously double or treble their goals output from last season baffles me.
  20. I donโ€™t think we know who agreed them or wrote them yet, although a couple of people have had a go, for me making a similar post to this.
  21. Don't forget "wait till the end of the window" to see where any other goals come from.
  22. I asked you a genuine question, that you have skirted around.
  23. Id like to see first team players actually signing new deals to consider potential improvement on this matter. But maybe I am the one being unreasonable. He has said repeatedly that we will happily keep players and risk them leaving on frees.
  24. Its pointless debate cos everytime I said one thing, its always no, no and no from you, So what's the point, I have posted my opinion, disagree fine, but I'm not going around and around in circles time after time
  25. These original minutes don't give a true representation of what went on at all. Whoever agreed them with the Club should be ashamed. Unsurprisingly there is no real mention of the two points I flagged up, Suhail saying the owners were solely responsible for the appointment of the CEO - he's put them under real pressure there - and him throwing them under the bus regarding the women's team by saying it was their decision. Or the "Smoking gun" that proves what we've all long suspected, his admission that the owners' goal is merely to be "sustainable". I do hope someone gives the owners the opportunity to read the "real" minutes at some point! If Fans Forums are usually like this but all we see is sanitised minutes on the official website then my apologies may be due to the likes of K Hod for for accusing the members of being too passive over the months. If that's the case though whoever is recording what's gone on should be ashamed of colluding with the Club in producing doctored or heavily censored minutes for the official website. If however this meeting was a complete departure from the norm due to the introduction of a few feistier members then many congratulations are due to them - you've finally given the forum some teeth and made it relevant for the current situation. I bet the "Who are we playing in pre season" contingent were choking on their tea and biscuits!
