Do we know if players need ESC slots if they 16 or younger (so are too young to have a pro deal), or are they somehow able to get a GBE work permit (once they are old enough.. presumably they do not need one until they are old enough to work) by having played games at youth international level etc? If they are able to circumvent the ESC process, then targeting players at a younger age makes sense. Much less so if we end up having to use our ESC slots on 14, 15 year olds etc I thought there was a rule where foreign players could no longer sign until they were 18, and by such time would require one or the other of a GBE/ESC, so who is this France/Africa talent guy watching for the academy? (which is typically U18s)

I don’t attend Ewood regularly as I don’t live locally, but I will certainly boycott from now on. I do spend stupid amounts on merch for me and my son though…NAPM until they’re gone!!
