  1. Past hour
  2. So do I. But they wont. Ismael is a crap manager but its not him I was referencing.
  3. So, so vague. Only a select few people would read this and be reassured.
  4. Harry the Dog and co... They can feck off
  5. His answer was ambiguous as to which of those was the case, it could have meant anything from he has spoken to them on the phone briefly once, just before/after he joined, to he speaks to them on a daily basis for hours on end
  6. The former West Brom and Watford boss also says he has had direct contact with the club's owners who are based in India. "We spoke on the phone directly so there is normal communication and I felt the full support which is important. "We have someone here we can discuss things with but every time we plan something you have to wait a little while for the feedback. "I can't complain that any of the problems I speak about internally aren't taken seriously - sometimes we want things to happen quickly but you have to accept sometimes the rhythm of things going in some kind of direction."
  7. Not watched the interview. Did he mean he has spoken with the owners regarding the January window or just that he has spoken directly to the owners since he has joined the club?
  8. We all (and I include R99 in that) hope that happens However, prior experience tells us that it wont
  9. Speaking directly to the owners usually means they've placated someone with another pack of lies.
  10. Today
  11. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1DEwjP6dyL/ I think this bloke is stooping a bit low regarding those who want to protest/boycott.
  12. Well I hope Ismael and Rovers make you eat yours words with our January transfers
  13. I didn't mention about the club normal functional or not, I just comment what Ismael said, his phone call with the owners and how/when he wants signings coming in. All you do is nit pick and slag me off, why do you even comment on my posts? You demand I and others answer your questions but can't/wont show the same when people you asked questions. 🤔
  14. Ditto it's barmy and whilst it's good for some things other things are a ball ache and completely counter productive and fraught with potential problems.
  15. Look, enough from me. But just to say: Big Mak, I don't think is a great buy and will probably be moved on (not his fault he was bought) but that is irrelevant to this pathetic training ground stuff. Cantwell, in a team like ours he looks like Messi and is useful to us. But this pathetic stuff on the training ground is not endearing; he is nowhere near as good as he thinks he is; previous clubs have thought he was a knob; he has no pace or power, no right foot and doesn't score enough. But a legend in his own mind. And nowhere near as good as Adam Wharton. But as I say, in the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king. 🙂
  16. He still thinks we are a normal club. Expecting backing and proactivity.
  17. You are still speaking consistently as if we are operating as a normal, functioning club.
  18. The fact that Hedges being back tomorrow is a huge boost - and it is - just shows how little quality we have in the squad. Previous years he has been the one we winced at when he was playing as he's not that good, yet now we are just delighted it keeps the likes of De Neve out of the team. De Neve, Tavares, and Henriksson are all nowhere near good enough. Miller just about misses out being on that list but hes not that great either.
  19. Has anyone done the Val doing the Love Actually carollers scene yet?
  20. Not involved in squad tonight (although he hasn't featured for them in weeks & his loan seems to be "unofficially over") Farkas - score/update - started for our U21s on Tuesday
  21. ..hope it’s not too big and the “ boycott “ has already started.
  22. are you on hallucinogenic substances
  23. Rev you can go to the ticket office tomorrow and tell them you haven't been able to print your tickets off and they will provide a paper ticket at no extra cost. I have done that in the past.
  24. Not sure how I feel about a guy who has won 1 all season at home and taken us to the cusp of the relegation zone getting 'backed' in January. Of course 'backing' has lots of different forms and unless we are suddenly going to spend money on both fees and Championship level wages we are going to be shopping in the same aisle as the summer. We could sign 5 on 1st January and that would qualify as backing. But if they are more dross like the summer there's little credit for that. Of course it would be typical for these owners to suddenly release funds to support Ismael in January after doing zilch to support the last 3 managers who had all dragged us into promotion contention. Suspect the Stooge in the shadows is nervous and plans to use the early days of the January window to dilute fan anger by shuffling the deck with players. Getting Pickering out will naturally free up space for a couple of cheap incomings and unfortunately a lot of the support base will lap it all up as evidence of Venkys backing the club and about how they're doing nothing wrong.
