  1. Past hour
  2. The account also deleted a post stating it was a loan to buy when challenged on it their response was ‘I don’t know why I posted that’ guesswork at best
  3. He's 6'5". Asking him to press intensely is moronic.
  4. And they weren't big financial losses. Dennis was, but that was Waggott trying to be smart, rather than the Director of Football doing his job.
  5. However, in fairness he did seem to double down on it when people said it wasn't happening because he came on for Birmingham.
  6. Well not really, Nixon put it on and then 4 hours later RoversXtra claimed it as an exclusive.
  7. Is anyone actually sure what Ismael does want? We have the most thrown together group of players I've seen in my many years of supporting Rovers. For all the talk of projects, systems there is absolutely nothing in what we've bought thus far that resembles a semblance of a plan or identity. Unless of course we're just collecting 5'9 number 10's who play out wide.
  8. Postponed due to the weather warnings is my guess, to hide the fact that no bugger is going.
  9. The bit that went away was the right role under the right gaffer. I think he could have run his arse off every game under Ismael and it still wouldn't work because he's the wrong size and mobility for what this guy wants. The constant offsides though were a joke and if the penny never dropped with him for that it's also no wonder the head coach gave up on him.
  10. I would argue that he even put the required effort in. Even before comments about not running in training, numerous times I have seen him (not just this season) not put in the required work rate. As you say, there is a lot of revisionism on here. He hasnt been hard done by, hes just not up to it and thankfully we wont have to see him in a Rovers shirt again.
  11. Every good striker needs confidence and consistent game time - of which he has neither.
  12. TBF he usually gets injury timelines way before any journalist.
  13. I cannot believe, there is any demand for this non event !
  14. Today
  15. I have already addressed this and admitted it was a poor choice of words. However my next sentence addresses those who are not happy. This one sentence is being taken out of context It has no hidden meaning and does not call anyone complicit. It means if you are content you will attend obviously, if you are not then you have a decision to make. Join the boycott or not. No hidden digs at anyone.
  16. Everton fans are crying out for an attacking right back. Alebiosu would be perfect. I reckon the lad could step up to that level. I was only thinking the other day that he reminds me of Notts Forest and Englands Viv Anderson in his running style. Not a bad role model. I wouldn’t take a penny under £10 million for him.
  17. Gueye was never anything more than an out of his depth trier whose effort and enthusiasm meant under the right gaffer and role he over achieved for a little spell. That's IT, there is nothing more to it when you take that away and i wish him well but he needs a lower standard in order to prosper. The famous revisionism has started early.
  18. Howard RV7 is another attention seeker that gets it right as often as Nixon. Just don't feed the trolls.
  19. The Carpenters - A Kind Of Hush
  20. Great post - in the early months I was extremely hopeful. He has loads more attacking prowess than his predecessors. I feel like if he had converted one or two of those ‘many’ chances he got, or bundled a couple off his backside, he could’ve really fed off the excitement of the fans and gone on to be a talisman.
  21. I didn’t see the game but looking at the stats they got hammered. Very lucky to escape with a point.
  22. The account is run by - allegedly - a 19 year old who posts anything and everything that passes for info on Rovers. Nothing wrong with that and i don't think they've ever tried to pretend otherwise to be fair, they just want the clicks. Also isn't it strange some others by the same token only ever turn up on here at window time and get starchy when they can't do their little bit of veiled club propaganda ?
  23. Ahhh so both Nixon AND RoverExtra know their stuff!? Who’da thunk it? 🤩
  24. Good luck to Gueye, obviously wish it worked out better and whilst he’s not as good as I thought / wanted I do think he had a use. The ‘chaos agent’ referred to above is right, as times last season he would come on late in games and give tired defenders a new problem to deal with, rarely likely to win games but helped us see out quite a few at both ends of the pitch. One of his issues is being so erratic you never quite knew if it would cause us the problems though!
