  1. Past hour
  2. Well if there is a plan it's fucked if the best we can do is sign Cadamateri, whos essentially slightly younger than Leonard but a less impressive track record....make it make sense.
  3. There’s clearly no plan - the one they had at the end of December hasn’t worked and they’re going back for players previously of interest.
  4. Cheap Sheff wed are even more skint than Rovers
  5. Cadamarteri leads the line in a poor Sheff W. team. At £1m he's worth a punt imo, and hopefully we can get his goal output ratio up. He's not too dissimilar to Ohashi in that he's a hard-working player that will run all day, but certainly not score all day, but mixed with Gudjohnsen he would probably do well. If he was that highly rated, he would've moved on a long time ago, considering the situation the Owls find themselves in. We still need players who can contribute with goals now, over to you Rudy.
  6. Today
  7. Think we tried to sell him to the highest bidder but there weren't any this window.
  8. Am I missing something with Cadamateri? Seems to always be linked with moves away but based on what? His stats have never been prolific at any level, granted he's only 20 still. His injury record looks poor. Or is it simply a case of Sheff Weds are skint, who's left to take that can kick a ball?
  9. The Clash - I'm So Bored with the USA
  10. Well that prediction certainly is mental.
  11. Lose this and Ish has to be binned. Need someone to motivate the players with a new manager bounce. I’d even take Rowett
  12. Aye, a lot of the article rang true, and I could guess who most of the people they didn't name are, but that part was clearly cobblers. Clubs don't call off games unless they want penalising by the league. Referees decide if it goes ahead. I'd imagine the police can too potentially, but certainly not club officials.
  13. Not so sure about cadameteri. He’ll be good for the future there’s no doubt about that, but now we need someone proven which we won’t as is always the case. Seems like we are planning for relegation.
  14. We were apparently in for Jorgensen in the summer - are we just using the same old list?
  15. Yesterday
  16. Cool, so that's...2 less goals and 2 more assists than the defensive midfielder we were just talking about that we are apparently looking at.
  17. Nixon in 2 days time ‘exclusive’ Cadamerteri deal a no go
  18. Nixon reckons we're putting in another bid for Bailey Cadamarteri
  19. I disagree with that, as many people go to Ewood for many reasons and the owners are not one of them. We need minor protest sustained over a long period for me, get our plight back in the media, then mass boycotts per games if possible. I speak to lots of people from across the footballing spectrum and the response to me being a Rovers fan is always: ’Are you still owned by the chicken lot’ - Oh yes!!
  20. Very excited to hear more about this!
  21. Desperately need a striker. There’s another L1 striker Rovers should take a look at. 22 yo, 8 goals and 4 assists in 22 matches. Name is Harry L….. wait a minute….
  22. If £600k gets you a DeNeve I’d rather it was spent on the women’s team.
  23. Bryan Hyland - Sealed With The A Kiss
  24. I thought they had occasionally put interest on some smaller loans ?
  25. I missed this post earlier but I don’t know if that is the only benefit is the truth. Everybody knows they have lost money, the accounting principles are just an aside. The VH Group must just be ok with it. The only alternatives are that they genuine believe they can get promotion and then pay themselves a whopping amount back, or they think somebody somewhere is daft enough to pay it when purchasing the club. I just don’t understand why they do own us. Really I don’t. It’s absolutely true that wiping the debt will lower the value of VH Group as a whole. Whether that is actually felt is another matter. And given that BRFC is loss making, any recent investment in Venkys will have already factored that in. It is hardly an overnight thing Cash flow is what matters most. The accounting principles are just that - principles. So long as Venkys pay the bills and remain solvent, and so long as they continue to affirm commitments to the EFL that loans will not be recalled or interest applied, then this situation can really be forever. There’ll be a limit to the debt that the EFL will accept. Maybe that conversation has been had Theres no transparency in accounts really. We can talk of the rules but the numbers really show what the group wants you to see. Call me cynical but it’s my opinion Cash flow is the way to hurt Venkys. Being billionaires, that’s a tough ask I firmly believe that when Venkys decide to sell, it will be preceded by a debt write off. Now this may be similar to the Venkys initial purchase - all at once on purchase and so we will lack foresight - or they may do it in advance and signal a come get me plea. Hopefully it’s the latter so we can get a bit excited about it all for a while. Either way, that money is gone in their eyes
  26. It's something that just doesn't resonate with the outsiders running and owning the club. Just look at the PNE ticket prices for a start, they really don't deserve support pulling the strokes they do in a town like this.
