  1. Past hour
  2. I've just ran it through this site to check - https://www.transferroom.com/gbe This also has him as a pass, but only just.
  3. Did you check this as the website I used made him an exceptions panel case? Thanks.
  4. Yes, due mostly to International minutes.
  5. So if you beat a team in a friendly one week it’s a β€˜good win’… get beat the week after in another friendly and you aren’t allowed to say the opposite as you overreacting. Fair enough.
  6. Would Miller definitely qualify for a work permit without being an ESC player?
  7. He has barely made the u21s at times. Terrible signing.
  8. It's pretty inexcusable that any Football League club would sign an ESC player on a 3yr deal, and be over a year without even a legitimate sniff of the first team (Pre-season, EFL/FA cup squads etc), and now be in a position where that players slot is a hindering factor. Feel sorry for the lad as it isn't his fault. But he needs moved.
  9. Would you be content with an 18 year old goalkeeper with no experience being the immediate back up? One injury and you are throwing him in and its a huge risk. We HAVE to sign another keeper if Pears goes.
  10. Wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest. Val keeps mentioning mistakes with the contracts which likely means one of trav/tronstad will go. Trav will hold more of a price tag and as much as we love him there’s not many teams knocking on the door for him so Derby would be a good fit for him with Eustace there
  11. Speaking as a veteran Crohn’s expert (45 years and counting), the good news is that biologic drugs have revolutionized its management, with years or even decades of remission being far more common than in the past. The bad news is that its course is completely unpredictable and he could be in for major surgery next month - but then so could Wharton, Carter and Leonard. The one thing I’d say is he won’t be a malingerer in the treatment room for slight knocks - you soon learn that remission is a gift to be made the most of.
  12. https://theanalyst.com/articles/championship-corners-2024-25-goals-stats-opta According to this goals from corners is less that 3% in the Championship. Personally I've never really understood the excitement for corners apart from an opportunity to put the ball into the penalty area (which many teams opt not to do anyway). The new 8 second rule for goalkeepers will be penalised with a corner if the keeper transgresses. A direct free kick from 20 yards out would be more of a deterrent in my opinion.
  13. We could employ him , he just wouldn’t be allowed to do anything. Maybe he could be the new CEO 😁
  14. The first he mentioned Mafoumbi a few weeks ago was after Mafoumbi' s esc slot was mentioned in discussion on here Also, it would be remiss of him not not at least have a scan of this forum on a semi to fairly regular basis
  15. I don't disagree with you but he was up against Fiorentina, who assume (perhaps incorrectly), would be better than a lot of the championship teams. Albeit, I have no idea where they are in their pre-season preparations.
  16. Work permits are issued by the FA. The work permit is then included in the application (to the Home Office) for the player to be allowed into (and to stay in) the country.
  17. The top 6 is set in stone and has been the last 2 years under McCullum and Stokes for the Ashes Series. I don't watch many county games but is there anyone knocking the door down. I have include Jordan Cox has he seems next in line and middle order and Jack Haynes seems to have a good season for Notts with 4 hundreds
  18. Think it’s more someone asked him to be fair
  19. You can tell him reads this forum can't you πŸ˜‰ Hi Elliott
  20. Elliot saying Mafoumbi "could leave" when asked about ESC spots.
  21. There are basically two types of players - those who play to get you on top in the game and then there are those that play when the first type of players have got you on top. Buckley belongs in the second category.
  22. Then Buckley will have to move to league 1 as he's not getting in anyone's first 11 in the Championship. Already flopped at Sheffield W.
