  1. Past hour
  2. How come Ismaels put him on the bench against w.b.a, is it a game plan.
  3. Absolutely. I still chuckle/roll my eyes at "I would sell Travisnif we got x million". Why?
  4. Today I start my 60th season being a Rovers fan. Yes I’m an old fart but no less excited at what this one will bring. Not expecting too much as we are in a period of transition with some key players from last season missing and we just don’t know if their replacements are quite up to the challenges of the Championship. Hopefully we will still sign a wide man and striker before September to provide a bit more fire power up front but I’m not holding my breath. COYB
  5. Edit: Miller has beaten me to it and explained it. Sadly I think it's clear where the blame lies and frankly the Club aren't going to look a gift horse like that in the mouth if they can get away with it.
  6. I wrote what I did, as thats the way, I see it, but no problem at all being corrected on it, as just done so by Miller 11
  7. Ah, sorry, I misunderstood. In which case, I am not in favour of them leaving. In an ideal world, I would like to see Travis etc tied up to proper contracts reflecting their worth But given the current owners, that wont happen, so I would prefer to keep them, and have them leave on frees so Venkys lose more money
  8. We are going to have these problems so long as the FF is recognised by the Club as the sole organisation representative of the fanbase. I believe it isn't, I certainly hope it isn't and I believe the owners are running foul of the new laws by keeping up the pretence. Parson, you are as loyal a Rovers fan as exists, can't you see that what Glen and others are trying to do is to enable your club to survive forever? More to a fan than paying at the turnstile.
  9. Makes you wonder if we are willing to sacrifice academy players why would tyjon be willing to stick around if he's going to be flogged in a couple of years to the Highest bidder
  10. Sorry to labour this point, but, (if it was him) how could O2G write up a completely inaccurate and/or misleading version 1 in the first place, and secondly, IF version 1 was circulated to the other Forum members bar GM for approval before being sent to the Club, how could they confirm them as being accurate but then also confirm Glen's amended version as being accurate when he (rightly) kicked off about it?
  11. "We" as in people on this message board.
  12. Because it is easier & cheaper to let them leave. No "pesky" contract renewals (or the wage rises that will accompany that), & creates a "pathway" for our academy players
  13. Heard, of course there needs to be someone who will take them, but if those suitors come in, there gone.
  14. No. To correct the first paragraph. Version 1 was sent to the club before being sent to other attendees. As soon as it landed in my inbox I messaged Glen asking what he thought of them. As he hadn’t received them I forwarded them to him. We both came to the same conclusion on them, as did others on the forum at that time.
  15. I’m not pretending I’m fully aware of how the club is being run. That said the last page has been about cantwell leaving which is highly unlikely to happen this summer window given his wages his personality and stop start career of/when he goes it’s more likely to be in Jan if he’s performed well or next summer
  16. Perhaps, but the whole Anderson thing was pretty high profile at a time when almost everyone was angry at our ownership (time and maybe the young ‘social media’ fan base has swayed that). But if it came to light that Anderson is still involved, and has been throughout I think that would cause waves. (I doubt it is true otherwise we’d surely hear more about it, but just after quoting Mike who said there are rumours)
  17. I find it interesting that Glen says that Leonard has been frozen out. Seems a strange one to pick on, why? You would think they would want him as the number one man up front with him being an academy product and cheap?
  18. They can both leave and can both easily be replaced (ability wise) The club won't do it though so why are we happy for them to go?
  19. Cantwell can leave for me. Travis going would be a great shame. @glen9mullan is your assumption on the outgoings based on your view, or what you've heard?
  20. I think we would all rather keep him, because we want what's best for the on field side. I think Cantwell could really step up this year.
  21. Got no clue about any of the new lads but we will miss all the championship experience we have let go. Going for a 1-1, think we will be very low scoring this season but fairly solid at the back.
  22. No I’m talking in the round. But when you are doing it through Chat GPT through low level comms staff, then it’s to be expected.
  23. For what it's worth I dont think there will be many takers for Cantwell if any at the minute. Let's not pretend though, ig they can bundle him out of the door to save a few quid they will.
  24. I'm not arsed what he's done at rangers. The lad clearly has ability, he's frustrated the whole fan base last year (agreed) but I'd still rather keep championship experience in the team than lose them - Then there's the question will we replace?
