  1. Past hour
  2. So are they saying that the negotiator is a diversion tactic from the inside??
  3. Prior to last night, he was being use about a similar amount to how Gueye was used for us (before he was dropped from our squad completely https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/daryl-dike/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/638741/plus/0?saison=2025&verein=&liga=&wettbewerb=&pos=&trainer_id=
  4. I always thought that the only way to get rid of these owners was with people power and voting with a few no shows, let's hope today gains that traction. I also hope it would still be happening if we were having a half decent season as nothing is going to change until this cancer is gone!
  5. Hope you've got the Riverside to yourself.
  6. Before I get into this post I'll spell it out because I know the first reply will probably be "Are you comparing protesting against Venkys to ending apartheid in South Africa?" No, obviously, even if Venkys might be harder to get rid of. A common retort against the protests is "They won't even know it's happened", and that always makes me think of the Dunnes Store ladies in Ireland. They started a protest against selling South African grapefruits that everyone said was useless, how can 10 ladies in Ireland not selling grapefruits end apartheid. It took a while but through a chain of events started by 1 person seeing their protest their persistence led to Ireland being the first country to ban the import and sale of all goods from South Africa which triggered others to follow suit and started an economic meltdown that helped end the regime. David Nihill covers it brilliantly. So, to those boycotting the match today, talking to the press, talking to their mates ... you don't know who is going to see it, you don't know who they are going to tell and you don't know who's going to be our Nimrod.
  7. Life only normally allows me to get back up for a couple of home games a season with my girls - and its an opportunity to visit family at the same time. We'd planned in this weekend to be one of those weekends a while ago. However, we're still very much in Sussex today. will be at QPR away - but not sure when we'll get to Ewood next now. Hope today can make a difference.
  8. There will always be people, who appear in moments like this. They can't be managed. The rest of us just need to hold our nerve and not give it any oxygen. Not sure, who profits by it. Vive La Coalition!
  9. Not many clubs wear a red and white halved shirt….could you imagine 😂 More likely that someone is writing all that to make it look like JDT (or someone close to him) in my opinion.
  10. They’ve all been deleted ☹️
  11. Today
  12. Good luck to all those boycotting today. Here's hoping it's the beginning of the end of Venky's.
  13. I am going today, though I have respect to anyone who is boycotting. I think it’s a deeply personal decision and whatever decision you choose is the right one for you. Lets all hope we can be discussing a successful on field performance along with the boycott at 5pm
  14. 100%..Never a truer word Spoken.
  15. If he must, tell her he is off to match and then spend the afternoon down the pub !
  16. If currently being used why would wba sell to a relegation rival - makes no sense on their end
  17. Empty stadium and 3 points would no doubt assist recovery.
  18. Dike is an interesting one as it looks like he’s out of contract in the summer so that combined with his injury record could keep the fee down. He didn’t join West Brom for a huge fee either and due to the injuries he’s not really pushed on there. I guess he’s hoping he stays fit and ends the season well to get a move. I wouldn’t be against bringing him in but we need another as well.
  19. We can all get behind a sh1t side, devoid of talent, if we know the clubs pulling in the right direction Waggy76. The current happenings at Ewood are by design.
  20. I think a 15 minute no show and Red cards when we return to our seats. Impactful and visual
  21. I was just reading that Rochdale have just received a grant of £250,000 towards the pitch that they have renewed over the last couple of months. No chance of us being smart enough to do stuff like that.
  22. Just to hopefully add a bit of levity to this dreadful situation. I've been going on Ewood Park since 1978 (aged 7) with my dad, and my son joined us in 2008, (also aged 7) My dad is now aged 80. We discussed the pros and cons of a boycott at length yesterday. He listened intently to everything I said, asked a series of thoughtful questions, mulled it over for 20 minutes.... and then made a decision to check the weather forecast this morning!
  23. I just hope today is a great success,an important message is sent out that the fans have had enough and its the start of the end of Venkys reign of terror. Stick together.
  24. Rumours Louza hasn't travelled with Watford. If so that's a bonus, arguably the best midfielder in the league. 1-1.

  26. Waaay too much I’d say…I love JDT but…😆
  27. We have had exposure on Radio Lancs, TalkSport & the Daily Mail in the last 24 hours…I’d say that was a decent effort all round TBH. Raising the profile of our case needs “little & often” activities I think to build momentum.
