I would urge every supporter to invest the time to watch the AGM video. If anyone needs any further evidence of the death spiral of this once proud club, listen to Mike, Steve and Duncan’s passionate, yet hopeless, first hand experiences of trying to deal with the stooge custodians of our club. I do agree, but how questionable can this activity really have been - it’s not like they’ve been trafficking drugs or people through Ewood is it? Ok, perhaps the buyers DD reveals (just speculations - worst case scenarios) they’ve paid a lot of fees to shady agents (which club hasn’t), may have been dealing with some cash under the table perhaps(unlikely to be discovered), bookkeeping and tax reporting may not have been top notch, some questionable related party transactions maybe, but this is all minor stuff in the grand scheme of things. And when the club has been sold they’ll all be back in India safe and sound miles away from any fines, minor negative publicity etc. It will all be history and forgotten about sooner than we all think. Why can’t they at least do as Chansiri at Sheff W, who now seems to finally have decided to sell (although he’s apparently turned down some more than decent offers recently and appears to have put a crazy price tag on the club) - at least he’s responding to offers in a semi-rational manner???

From a Rovers perspective, I think another 'standard season' of mediocrity is the best we can hope for. Just stay away from the drop zone! Let's be honest, short of a change in ownership (which isn't foreseeable), the absolute realistic ceiling for ambition is to scrape sixth and lose to a parachute payment, moneybags club in the PO semis. Plenty of clubs, eg Cardiff and Hull, thought they had enough to stay up but didn't. That has to be the key concern. I'm just too ground down and fed up by 15 years of this s**t to hope for any better! As much as we the fans deserve a competitive side after all these years and (finally) a trip to new Wembley, the owners DON'T.

I feel this is absolutely crucial. We need to push this hard. Pasha and Waggot said in their media video (when asked by Andy Bayes) that any credible offers would be presented to Venkys. Therefore, it is imperative that we are told what happened to these offers. If rejected, why. Wrong price? Wrong buyer? Silence will again provide fans with yet more ammo.

Brilliant. Helps massively, hopefully not just for me, but for those on here and beyond. It could rumble on for a long time this, by the sounds of it and the longer it does, the more if an impact it will have on the club. It begs the question yet again, as to why under these circumstances, would anyone hold onto the club, and after last nights WATR AGM the very fact that enquires have been made to purchase the club, but have been stonewalled, leads me back to where I have always been and that is the are running scared of some questionable activity, being discovered, should a deep dive of the accounts and the original takeover, take place.

I don’t know when it is because, as much as I’ve tried, I can’t find information anywhere confirming a date or whether one has even been set yet. In terms of what it is - as far as I understand it: * The Directorate of Enforcement have made their complaint (confirmed in last court order) to the Adjudicating Authority - in other words they believe their investigation has revealed a case to be answered. * The Adjudicating Authority (could be one person or multiple peoples) will hold an inquiry, looking at the evidence, allowing the Venkys to defend themselves etc. * They will then either be found guilty and a fine issued or they will be found innocent and the matter will be brought to a close** ** Both parties have a right of appeal and a right to appeal that appeal. In terms of the anticipated outcome, I think someone said the DoE has a 95% success rate. In terms of the fine, this can be anything up to three times the amount of the monies sent in contravention of the rules. I hope this helps.

As did on average the whole of the league people here really really missing the point last summer many here said no szmodics equalled relegation as there was no way we could replace his goals nobody could replace 27 goals but what we did was find ways to no be a one man team and having every contribute a bit more than the season before and to me 7 short of that plus 13 points and 12 places better off is a huge success theres a million and one things to be depressed about supporting rovers but to try and push a negative onto a positive season (in comparison to the one before) is just crazy
