Looks really good with Santa Cruz 9 on the back Went into club shop yesterday.. i must say it's getting worse... You can't even buy a mini kit for your car

Claytons Left Boot Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 Went into club shop yesterday.. i must say it's getting worse... You can't even buy a mini kit for your car My Mini Kits for the car are so old, I've painted faces of Bob Crompton on them. Our club shop (contradicts the Trade Descriptions Act 1968, I know) is an embarrassing joke.
KimberleyBRFC Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 We havent been able to for the last 2 years!! have you only just noticed! Of course Hughesy it was just an example !!
b12_simon Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 I bought a home kit (#5 Tugay) before the Larissa game. The staff were helpful, chatty and pleasant. I'm not contradicting anyone here, just stating my own experience (and I wasn't after a mini-kit so can't comment )
bubblerrovers Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 I thought this was all going to be sorted out?? any news or a change in the pipeline?? i thought we where going to court to get out of the contract with Sportsworld
Mc Love Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 My Mini Kits for the car are so old, I've painted faces of Bob Crompton on them. Our club shop (contradicts the Trade Descriptions Act 1968, I know) is an embarrassing joke. Bob crompton?? Haha thats deadly funny. I would love to get mini-kit too, but they dont them online. The club should really take the club and online shop back from the bunch of retards that are running it.
USRoverME Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 Have to disagree, although the selection is typically bad (apparenly just like the real shop) I've never erally had a problem with ordering over the on-line shop.
Mc Love Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 Well when you are waiting just under two months for a jersey....it doesnt sound very professional. Plus the online shop is in Nottingham, thats where my Jersey came from.
American Rover12 Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 Obviously I have never personally been to the club shop, but in both my dealings with the official online shop, I've received my kits timely and without problem.

yoda Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 My mini kit`s so old , it`s in black & white! Maybe its a barcode kit
ABBEY Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 My mini kit`s so old , it`s in black & white! my mini kit is so old i used to wear it

bob fleming Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 Am getting married next year and just want some cufflinks with the Rovers crest on - am up for the Reading game - I assume there is no chance.... EBay. Not sure about the shop though. It's an option.
stuwilky Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 Ive got some Rovers cufflinks! If that helps!
waggy Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 my uncle was up from norwich for the liverpoo game, went in the club shop for next years calender, shop said WE ARE NOTHING TO DO WITH ROVERS NOW went to the ticket office and asked were he could get a calender from, the girl said we have not got any ask at the shop, when he replied the girl said he was a BIT EARLY FOR CALENDERS AIN'T IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
daren Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 At least they're admitting they're nothing to do with rovers! Hopefully it's the first step of a (undoubtedly painful) process to get the shop back.
Cocker Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 I have to stick up for the shop a little at the moment. I was in there before the Liverpool game and spent £250 just on Rovers clobber - and none of that was on the kit because I have them already. Its been a good few years since there have been enough things in there that I have like to get the old wallet out for. It does look to me like they are trying again - not as good as the olden days but they are trying.
14May1995 Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 I also went into the club shop on Saturday for the first time in a long time. I have to say - it was an absolute disgrace. Apart from the kit - and a few "foam hands" - I could see very little that was Rovers branded. I'd have had a problem spending £2.50 never mind £250!! Not only is this bad news for the fan - it's also such a wasted opportunity. I wonder what the chances are of getting exclusive rights to the Rovers logo for branded goods - I'd set up an alternative store.
daren Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 I was there last year and there were mugs, teddy bears and assorted twaddle (some of which I purchased ) Are these all gone now?

That you were able to is probably more down to Umbro (or the previous crapness of Lonsdale) than anything.
Roost Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 MINI KITS - PLEEEEASE!!! I have been toying with the idea of having some made - do you think it would be viable? I would not be able to add the logo, but a blue and white halved car kit is fairly obvious........................ Let me know. One Love - BRFC
