So, if you were to put a bet on the next Bolton manager tonight, where would your money go? (before the specluation comes out tomorow).

Megson

There you go, you don't need to read either the thread or the People now.

Or you could go back to message 4280...

Bolton will move on very quickly now. Megson refused to talk to the media today when Leicester wanted him to say he was staying.

Mandaric thinks he is gone. So do I.

Read the People for the full story - and maybe the explanation... ;)

Megson?....from bad to worse imo.

Megson's gotta be better than that weird little scouse animal.

Yes, that was my source- thanks.

Notlob peregrinations

Nicko on a "second" bidder. If he reads back through his articles he will note there was another "second" bidder a few weeks ago.

Read the Bolton article, hardly saying that Megson is favourite for the Bolton job!! Any developments on this story?? Put a bit of cash on it, so have an interest. Rumour going around that Taggart will take over at Leicester and Megson will leave. Also, contrary to Mandaric's claims, Megsons contract at Leicester is not 'legally binding', which seems very strange.

On takeover news, hardly anything to get excited about. Like Williams, seems like someone (or group) is trying to punch above their weight.

Good grief.

Come back Dan Wiliams all is forgiven!

Might put a few on the gate though, bound to have a few relatives locally!

Never mind him....... where's that Michael Knighton?

From that article.......... 'Failed to provide proof of funds'.

That second bid sounds like BS, let's hope so!

I heard Mandaric maybe wanted rid of Megson after 2 weeks so I think he is just trying to twist some money from Bolton. I will absolutely laugh my head off if he goes there! Hilarious!!! I'd be absolutely livid with the last 6 months if I was a Bolton fan. Jesus!

I can't see Megson getting on with their good players. He's a bad manager and seems like a pretty horrible guy...

Lot of cash going on Megson at the moment, and generally his odds are shortening.

Hopefully it is a case of no smoke without fire.

I just think it is a shyte appointment for Bolton but do not really give a flying one!

Your reason for saying that is either:

1) The failure to provide proof of funds when dealing with Derby

or

2) They are Pakistanis.

Kindly tell us which one.

Another one: If Rovers were to find themselves in a lower division than Burnley which would be the bigger club?

What a stupid question. Blackburn. End of story. Massively more successful club historically. Massively greater recent success in a league Burnley have never been in. And everybody would expect the situation to be temporary anyway.

And in no way are Hibs bigger than Bolton, sorry.

What?

I said that because we dont want another perfectly good thread getting locked because of racist talk.

The article says Derby knocked back the deal because they couldnt prove they had the cash so why should we go in with them
