CAPT KAYOS Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 Jimmy Bullard Why we are not in for him when Wigan are pressing, I will never know Surprised completely on this one. Primary reason he left Wigan was because he wanted to be nearer 'home down sarf' being a suverner n'all - so to do a turnabout is rather surprising. Would definitely be a good siging for us however if he is available and not crocked..
brian_gallagher85 Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 ...I thought Keane had signed him there for a sec I also see Earthquake man is well on his way to becoming a Makem ...how much Niall?
Neil Weaver Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 How many roads must a man walk down? I believe the answer is blowing in the wind
gumboots Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 I believe the answer is blowing in the wind Plenty of that about today so perhaps we'll get some answers.
socngill Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 Roque Santa Cruz is just about to talk to SkySports News... Why do i suddenly have an impending feeling of dread! So what has been said? Or has he not been on yet...?
roverfanuk Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 So what has been said? Or has he not been on yet...? Not on yet. Not expecting him to be on right now... They said they would be talking to Brad yesterday after the break, gave up upon the 3rd break...
brian_gallagher85 Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 They're still waiting on Alan I see that he has been in contact with the new Stroke Boy about Arshavin though
CAPT KAYOS Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 Hey Nicko Any news since 5 seconds ago or is that days or since Bob Fleming last asked. There is a lot of stuff blowing in the wind and we need answers my friend
brian_gallagher85 Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 They've just quoted RSC's agent as saying they're more than happy to play the waiting game
roverfanuk Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 Can't believe my ears! Santa Cruz's agent has said "he is willing to sit and play the waiting game with regard to going to Spurs?!" :o
CAPT KAYOS Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 Roque Santa Cruz is just about to talk to SkySports News... Can someone not get them to interview Mokoena?
philipl Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 Can't believe my ears! Santa Cruz's agent has said "he is willing to sit and play the waiting game with regard to going to Spurs?!" :o It's at this point I wish we hadn't appointed a 4th Division Manager. Brad is understandable, Bentley had taken the michael out of Hughes but RSC is a massive personal vote of no confidence in the new regime.
hawkiiz Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 Can't believe my ears! Santa Cruz's agent has said "he is willing to sit and play the waiting game with regard to going to Spurs?!" :o For real?? why the F do everyone wanna go to spurs??? what are so great about that??
tony gale's mic Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 Waiting game?! He's under contract and no matter what he says, we have to hang onto him at all costs.

Brad is understandable, Bentley had taken the michael out of Hughes but RSC is a massive personal vote of no confidence in the new regime. Sorry, did he mention Spurs? i heard the guy say the agent said he was prepared to play the waitning game but that was like a general thing about transfers and the fact that they don't seem to be moving for anyone.

Brad is understandable, Bentley had taken the michael out of Hughes but RSC is a massive personal vote of no confidence in the new regime. I think this is more likely evidence that players who have had a hitch in their careers see us as a stepping stone club. Bentley's career goes tits up at Arsenal, comes to us, and at the rear end of his best season, he demands a move. Craig Bellamy's career goes tits up at Newcastle, comes to Rovers, has a good season, and demands a move to Liverpool. Santa Cruz career goes tits up at Bayern, comes to Rovers, has an excellent season, works himself a possible more to Spurs via his agent. Benni wants to come into English football, but knows he needs to prove himself to the bigger clubs at a smaller club first. Has a good season, hears interest from Chelsea, head is turned, change in manager stalls that transfer, which ruins his move. His following season cacks up! It's sickening... Zero loyalty in footie anymore! Sorry, did he mention Spurs? i heard the guy say the agent said he was prepared to play the waitning game but that was like a general thing about transfers and the fact that they don't seem to be moving for anyone. He was talking in relation to Robbie Keane going to Liverpool and Berbs going to United... Santa Cruz does want that move if its possible...
brian_gallagher85 Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 Yes I was wondering where all the Spurs madness had come from too ..althought he did mention Berba and Keane going...to be honest I don't think they have a bloody clue what's going on and are a little ###### that Kaboul to Sunderland is their big news story today
nicko Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 There is a lot of stuff blowing in the wind and we need answers my friend I don't know...but I think a hard rain's a-gonna fall.

Its the fact he's looking to move thats the most worrying thing...
LeChuck Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 It's at this point I wish we hadn't appointed a 4th Division Manager. Brad is understandable, Bentley had taken the michael out of Hughes but RSC is a massive personal vote of no confidence in the new regime. It's not so much the manager, I think it's the back room staff he's assembled. Ince is young and working his way up, but jourymen like Mathias et al have been working with cloggers in the lower leagues for their whole careers...how they're suddenly expected to start coaching world class players with the newest coaching techniques is beyond me.
brian_gallagher85 Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 Great, looks like it'll be pissing it down at 10/11 pm tonight now then ....oh the joy
nicko Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 Which one of Roque's agents is playing a waiting game? This is daft.
-foreverrovers- Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 For real?? why the F do everyone wanna go to spurs??? what are so great about that?? oh s*it!
