Steve Moss Posted February 1, 2010 Author Posted February 1, 2010 No chance unless Sam has robbed a bank!! If it would get us a decent player or three, I'd drive the getaway car.
LeftWinger Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 No chance unless Sam has robbed a bank!! I thought Johnson was the one that the board would back Sam over. This is the first transfer window in awhile, where I’ve not been worried about anyone coming and stealing one of our prized assets. Not sure if that’s a good thing or not.
neophox Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 Nicko: Are we actually in talks with three players at the same time? So Beattie, Dindane and Benjani are all at Ewood?
Sandiway Blue Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 Wonder whats happened to stroke boy? Just doesn`t feel right without him....
hollowsr Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 Nicko: Are we actually in talks with three players at the same time? So Beattie, Dindane and Benjani are all at Ewood? Keep up, we were talking to Dindane and Benjani in Manchster!
Grabbi Graeme Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 Yeah not the same without stroke boy and his 5 mobile phones. According to SSN Dindane having a medical at Rovers
elv2k21 Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 The player had the choice of three big clubs...and has chosen Manchester City. Quite a kick in the stones for Chelsea. They used to get who they wanted - now City just pick up their targets. Who was the third big club?? Edit.. Forgot Sunderland were in the mix
brian_gallagher85 Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 Was just thinking the same, maybe the mobile phone operators have been chasing him down for unpaid bills? Nicko or anyone else, if Pompey don't ship out one or two of their keepers will they move closer to the abyss?
RibbleValleyRover Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 Reporter outside Pompey saying Dindane is having a medical as we speak at Ewood.
imy9 Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 SSN have announced Dindane is having a medical and will sign on until the end of the season! Good signing on a loan deal, has plenty to prove as its world cup year.
Guest Kamy100 Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 SSN Reporter at Portsmouth saying that Dindane having a medical at Rovers.
Sandiway Blue Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 Apparently Dindane having medical at Rovers is this the player you meant Alan?
nicko Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 Nicko: Are we actually in talks with three players at the same time? So Beattie, Dindane and Benjani are all at Ewood? BEATTIE...there has been no Rovers bid, just a lot of talk...he is at Sunderland with Stoke...Fulham tried for him but he could not get there for a medical. DINDANE...is surrounded by agents who are a pack of liars. BENJANI...see above.
hollowsr Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 SSN saying Dindane having a medical at the moment, take it with a pinch of salt!
Lee0r Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 Jeez, how unfit is he if he is having around 10 medicals !
brian_gallagher85 Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 BEATTIE...there has been no Rovers bid, just a lot of talk...he is at Sunderland with Stoke...Fulham tried for him but he could not get there for a medical. DINDANE...is surrounded by agents who are a pack of liars. BENJANI...see above. I look forward to Sky glossing over all these "apparent" deals in a few hours
hollowsr Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 16.03 Time running out for Blackburn Rovers to bolster their striking options but manager Sam Allardyce is still doing all he can to add an experienced forward before the 5pm close of the window. (Lanc Telegraph)
PAFELL Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 DINDANE...too many agents, too little time. BENJANI...didn't his medical take so long when he joined Man City that old Thaksin extended the deadline and broke the rules to get him?...surely you are not going down that road. BEATTIE...other clubs in, no-one agreeing a fee. Farce. Cannot loan deals be done after the 5pm deadline?
brian_gallagher85 Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 What's Sky saying about Dindane and us? That he's having a medical....must have great specs if he can see all that from the South Coast though!
nicko Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 Cannot loan deals be done after the 5pm deadline? Premier League clubs cannot bring in any players on loan after then...but they can send them out on loan. Now if a club goes bust and their players become available that is a different matter, obviously.
American Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 So, since Fulham said they are done for the window, they've had one in and one out, unless they announced them earlier....
Mr. E Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 I have never seen or noticed Dindane play before...but at almost 30 and with a rather poor goal record...
