Hughesy Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 Blackpool trying to get Aaron Ramsey on loan...wonder if that has anything to do with Adam moving?

des Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 can anyone enighten me who are we seeking to sign and when will it happen
modes98 Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 Surely they'd be better talking to Bentley seeing as he is an SEM client unlike Larsson. Maybe do a little bit of research before posting, only took about 20 seconds to uncover the name of his agent and then search him. Kentaro list and the one right at the bottom represents him, Lion Cubs is his nickname. Wouldn't want to mess with him or his twin. can anyone enighten me who are we seeking to sign and when will it happen Yes and no. Adam, Ronaldinho(not anymore), Beckham(not anymore), Warnock, Collins, Barca B striker, Argie wonderkid. Timescales are before Feb 1st.
nicko Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 can anyone enighten me who are we seeking to sign and when will it happen Sounds like a cue for an early 11 o'clocker. Two deals today may help Rovers targets move along. BRIDGE...going to West Ham from Man City...may just assist in the Roque deal...West Ham say they are paying the full whack on his wages...I have my doubts...I think City are in the mood to trade...Roque is NOT my idea of a signing...but it could progress now. VILLA...trying for Maynor Figueroa at Wigan...if he comes, Warnock surely goes...and he is part of the Samba swap equation...that could just get the ball rolling. VENKYS...are over in force...that suggests a Steve Kean announcement. JOHN JENSEN...very much here and very much happening. There are other things afoot, but a bit early to relate. If you say things before they happen round here it gives the mopes an excuse to check their watches and start conspiracies. Best of luck to wee Dougie at Palace, by the way. Another 'new Coyley' is born.
Doaksie Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 Plenty of positive Leeds... Alas no positive leads.

Another 'new Coyley' is born. So nothing new and nothing really exciting. Business as usual. the manager might be pleased with the possible Collins Warnock for samba swap but most of us are not overly enthusiastic so that bit of news is not good either. However, tomorrow is another day.
tony gale's mic Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 On the wharf? Do you work at LGI? Not on the wharf but within a couple of minutes' walk. Used to work at the LGI and St James' last year, but rotated away from there now...
CircoWill Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 un moi, evidently I'm back in Leeds again now too. Couple of us travel over for most games by train... Or car for midweek games.
gumboots Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 I'm back in Leeds again now too. Couple of us travel over for most games by train... Or car for midweek games. Let's get in on the act. My daughter is moving back to Leeds to work as a VJ on Late Kick off at the BBC. She's a Rovers fan too.
Wilsbowski Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 Just a lurker but also live in Leeds centre
BuckyRover Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 Not on the wharf but within a couple of minutes' walk. Used to work at the LGI and St James' last year, but rotated away from there now... Nuffield eh? You filthy capitalist! It appears that Leeds has been infiltrated by Rovers. That's good to know
yeti-dog Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 You're not a Rovers fan are you? 319 recent posts all slagging off the new ownership/Steve Kean. Btw you forgot yourself earlier in the thread. You accused someone of being "easily pleased" when they said they'd be happy if we only signed Adam this window yet as soon as someone suggested Adam wasn't good enough for Liverpool, you started praising him to high heaven. Tsk tsk. Very sloppy work. Spot on Revidge..I've been thinking the very same thing myself for quite some time about Mr TrueBlueRover. I despair at some of the posters/posting on here I really do. Let's recap: We were suffering death by a thousand cuts under the trust.Ironically,we now have the doom-merchants incessantly bleating that our new owners don't have a pot to p**s in...I don't get it. The football at times was appalling. We'd grown used to,and accepted, stifling the opposition and hoping to scrape a win from a set-piece. Venky's didn't like that, wanted something more expansive and decide to sack Sam. They promote Kean and the aforementioned doom-merchants ever more excitedly tell us it's the end of the road. Kean takes the reins and so far has a record of P6 W3 D1 L2 F8 A8. Not a bad start for me,particularly as some of the football which has been played suggests a determined move away from hoofball. Some of you need to wind your necks in,take a valium and seriously try to chill. I won't mention names as you all know who you are.....
bep Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 i feel a song coming on here We are Leeds. Only joking chaps
bob fleming Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 "Don't talk to me about sophistication, I've BEEN to Leeds!"
Guest linganzi Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 I really don't think there is any doubt that our new owners are absurdly rich its just a case of how much they wish to spend on us. Nothing so far but its early doors. Villa and samba.....as tenuous as this sounds my friend a wba fan knows the brum version of cryer. The feelers are out but player aiming for better. Adam, depends on Blackpool but I'm told here that he would certainly talk to us. If all bids matched and they were involved it would be us or everton. Forget villa or brum, and kenny not in for him. Someone mentioned ramsay, I heard that too.
True Blue & White Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 I really don't think there is any doubt that our new owners are absurdly rich Really, define "absurdly rich" only do it here http://www.brfcs.co.uk/mb/index.php/topic/24033-pl-owners-as-at-august-2010/ I'll happily take the finance debate over there but let's be fair to the mods and other readers and stay on transfers only (I know rich coming from me but we didn't have an adequate thread before). Thanks
Roverdale Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 To echo an earlier post, yeah is there any news on Rochina? Also that Ramsay link is appealing.. Any truth in that Nicko?
RevidgeBlue Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 League rules ban any third-party ownership of clubs or players, and prohibit third parties from exerting “undue influence” over a club’s activities. The league will scrutinise Blackburn’s future transfer dealings and other business to ensure that they fall within the rules. The Premier League is monitoring developments at Blackburn Rovers amid concern that the involvement of sports rights agency Kentaro and player agency the SEM Group could potentially breach league rules. I would imagine that a breach of regulations is extremely hard to prove. If you're allowed to pay for, and take, advice, how do you then prove "undue influence?" It's like saying you're allowed to pay for advice but are never allowed to act on it.
deftangel Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 JOHN JENSEN...very much here and very much happening. There are other things afoot, but a bit early to relate. If you say things before they happen round here it gives the mopes an excuse to check their watches and start conspiracies. BPF referred to a bit of a circus yesterday (Monday). Didn't sound very positive about it either. Are the two related or perhaps you're referring to future/longer term plans on a more positive note? Is there anything in the Maradona stuff like Director of Football type roles or is that all just a rehash? That Desai is over here in the same period hasn't gone un-noticed.

American Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 57 pages of nothing much. Whatever happened to Transfer Thread 4 just to add some spice? EDIT: Off topic but a West Ham player (obviously not an SEM client ) has just been sent off for backhealing Larsson in the goolies and all he could do was shake his head as he left the field like it was some miscarriage of justice. Footballers really are dimwits My favourite slang word for those things! Better keep this on topic: I live in South London and have never been to Leeds.
True Blue & White Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 Better keep this on topic: I live in South London and have never been to Leeds. Wow, I live near London too..how amazing! Maybe we should find all the other people here that live in or near London, or have ever been to London
mcphee7 Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 I'd take warnock, and keep samba. Samba is excellent regardless of where he wants to be, and in any case he doesn't want to make a side step
