hard to understand what roberts has done to warrant a place. yak looks such a better player.

Completely agree. Especially when Hoilett, Formica and Vukcevic are supporting, because that compensates for his lack of movement.

I can just about understand playing Roberts when we have a defensive midfield like last week, because there is a big gap so the lone forward will get through a lot of work. Yakubu should have started today.

Formica scores! We score more Allardyce style goals than we did under Big Sam himself. Ironic eh?

Well deserved equaliser, now lets repeat what we did against Arsenal.

I don't think we'll get two own goals and a dodgy offside decision again. We didn't deserve the Arsenal win, we fluked it. We'll need to play better than that today.

How much better do we look with pacey full backs? That's our strongest defence at the moment. It's a shame it takes injuries to make Kean play Lowe, Olsson and Givet in their most useful positions to us.

Edit: Right on cue, Olsson covers brilliantly to stop Adebayor. If that's Givet at full back he doesn't get anywhere near him.

Vukcevic looks skilful on the ball, working hard too. So much more shape to the team with players in these positions.

Listening to Radio London. The commentators have sounded nervous since our equaliser. Do they have reason to be?

Yes, we're playing well and probably the better team overall so far.

Players clearly more determined and hungry for the win. We should have protests more often :)

More possession for Rovers now (55%).

Fox has it 52%/48% in favor of Blackburn at the half.

Team is playing very well. If they always turned out this way, we'd be in a much better position. Everyone has done well, though Vuckevic doesn't seem to be on the same wavelength as the balance of the squad. Hopefully this will improve as time goes on.

Of course, the second half remains to be played. Passed on past history I'm not confident.

Go Rovers!
