G Somerset Rover
Both Samba and Olsson injured.. I see Kean has been playing a Mourinho with the Samba injury news then. Not feeling confident without Samba's presence. 2-1 Wigan.

RibbleValleyRover
Just heard that Venkys + bodyguards due to arrive at Wigan. It's set up perfectly for Kean today with Wigan lacking confidence and the owners present. A win in front of his mates will give him until January and that's Rovers relegated for sure. Emge
Both Samba and Olsson injured.. He'll use that for all its worth if we lose today. And the STUPID owners will believe him and he will still be 100 % safe.
Majiball
Oh good ! perhaps its a ploy to unleash the slow learner/ late developer onto an unsuspecting football world - Europe here we come And to cap it all off Adam Henley is preferred to 'chris smalling' on the bench. magicalmortensleftpeg
With no Samba or Olsson, Kean didn't have a choice to play that backline. Going to be the longest 90 mins of the season.
LeChuck
Salgado and Givet at full back = defeat. I appreciate in this case it probably can't be helped, but then Kean didn't get adequate cover for those positions in the summer.
TugaysMarlboro
Wheres Vukcevic? Not even on the bench. I wish he'd play Rochina up front too.

We have Dennis Irwin milling around somewhere - we just never play him.

TugaysMarlboro
Broken nose, out until December. That explains it, cheers RVR. Good to see Henley on the bench, does beg the question where boy wonder Myles is though?
chris
so we were much inproved with Olssen and Lowe at full back and now we have gone back to our crap players in Givert at left back and salgado at right back It's like giving the other team 5 guarenteed clear chances. Little less confident now, hopefully Wigan are so much more worse that we won;t notice the chances.

I wonder if our warm-up will have the same effect as the one I saw at Wigan last time?
Ricky
So 2 of the new signings, Bruno and Anderson, still don't get a game. Why's this then Kean? Why did you sign these 2 if you don't intend playing them.
Andy
Hanley = leaking goals. Didn't fancy our chances before I knew that Samba and Olsson were out, but on seeing that Hanley and Dunn are in as well, I genuinely can't see us even getting a point today. Stuart
On the bright side, at least Kean will already have his excuses written ahead of the MOTD cameras. He can't lose now, even if we do.
AllRoverAsia
Robinson, Salgado, Hanley, Dann, Givet, Rochina, Nzonzi, Dunn, Pedersen, Hoilett, Yakubu. Substitutes: Forimca, Petrovic, Blackman, Roberts, Goodwillie, Henley, Bunn. Dont like that back four. We had better not get any injuries in defence looking at that bench. I wonder if Martinez will look to get it down our left and get Di Santo to attack the back post, Salgado's been struggling with those balls so far this season.
