47er Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 IMO, he is running a PL team very badly but still earns about two and a half times the salary of the British Prime Minister !!! You've written "earns"-----I hope you mean "receives".

Mercer Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 Of course, if Venky's are soon to sell !!!, an improved contract for Kean before he was sacked by sensible owners would of course help their golden boy !!!
rebelmswar Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 You've written "earns"-----I hope you mean "receives". A very apt distinction.
BuckyRover Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 You've written "earns"-----I hope you mean "receives". Or even "extorts"
rebelmswar Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 Or even "extorts" Doubly vicious as it comes from you Bucky.

Rovers_786 Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 venky if there is no new deal than please sack him and come clean guys come on.

His reply: "There are no plans for a new contract in the near future." #brfc #venkys" With the greatest of respect to Mike Hall, I have scant regard for Venky's ability to tell the truth and his TV channel's football coverage. They've said one thing to the LET and done another more times than I can remember. Furthermore, almost nobody was denying last week that some sort of discussions around a contract had taken place. The issue was whether it had been signed. That's everyone to John Cryer, Alan Nixon and posters on here saying it was "old news". The offence to Rovers fans is not whether it's been signed or even offered, it's that the subject is even up for discussion given his track record.

Spot on. Venky's once again had an international break to sack Kean and get a new manager in ready for some winnable games coming up, once again they have totally blown it.

They've had their hands full. Fending off a takeover bid.
Oslo Rover Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Steve Kean`s got more hair than brains, EE-I-EE-I-O!
gumboots Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Bit harsh RVR. They've had their hands full. Fending off a takeover bid. Not if you believe them they haven't because no bid has been made
Rovers_786 Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 The good news is that kean so far has not pen to paper. I guess the venkys are having a second thoughts and hopefully do the right thing and get rid off him and than talk to the fans and bring the board members back which there sacked for nothing.

No how. Bring back the board members? Keep dreaming.

Roost Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 Well if they are busy then I would do it for them, free of charge as well. I also see we have just lost a major sponsor because of the shitness of our manager. Who?
martypellowe Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 Have WEC confirmed as to dropping out? I heard a major sponsor had set a deadline of today for a response from the owners but didn't know who. Any articles anywhere?
King Kenny's Magic Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 Just a little something to lighten the mood. Some of these tweets are class! http://twitter.com/#!/Steve_Kean
RibbleValleyRover Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 Wage rise in offing for Blackburn Rovers boss Kean So he's not being offered a 'longer' deal but is going to get a pay rise?
Drover Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 Just a little something to lighten the mood. Some of these tweets are class! http://twitter.com/#!/Steve_Kean I think my favourite has to be: "And who'd have thought that Big SK was not only a master tactician, but also a master pyrotechnician? I started with a few simple rockets."

Any articles anywhere? Have they actually dropped out then? I've been following this, very disappointing and totally avoidable if true.
