Mike Graham Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 on the other hand if he won his next 5 games would you still want rid?? Yes yes yes yes yes. Sack Coco the Clown
Mr. E Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 Well this was the official end of our football club. This gives Kean job security for the next 20 years probably.
ABBEY Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 Why do fans go against Kean during the game or when we're winning? Sing your Kean Out chants before or after the game, not when it's 3-2 and the players need OUR FULL support. To me it just darkened the mood to what was a great result. Yak has been fantastic but I must say Formica was outstanding today. Samba showed today as to why we missed his aerial ability so much (despite letting 2ft tall Lita score with his head) Is two wins in dec good enough!! Pooor manager and poor human
Mattie456 Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 Did we really boo the first goal we scored? Protests are needed against Kean but booing a goal? The goal wasn't booed. It was yaks celebration with kean that was booed I thought.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 on the other hand if he won his next 5 games would you still want rid?? Are you being serious?

Beating a promoted side at home was "a great result"? This would have been a bread and butter game under Allardyce. Shows how low Steve Kean has brought us in a year. Perhaps that is why "fans go against Kean during the game"? Perhaps because at any other club in the entire Football league, he would have been potted months ago yet, at ours, he was given a pay rise?
perthblue02 Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 Just a quick scan through the last few pages, just had a terrible thought with Kamy twittering kean still might get sacked, knowing Blingy Rao is like a star struck kid and we are now living through this weird Venky twilight zone - David Gest the next rovers manager ?

Sing your Kean Out chants before or after the game, not when it's 3-2 and the players need OUR FULL support. To me it just darkened the mood to what was a great result. If they didn't, you'd be one if the first to call them fickle and that they only want him out after a defeat. This is the problem now, too many hypocrites about. When the BBE were chanting "Stand Up If You Want Kean Out", there were hardly any people near us stood up. Forget protests or T-Shirt. People can't even be arsed to STAND UP. They'd much rather sit and grumble and allow Kean to use them to prove that the majority of fans back him. Well done to all those concerned. You know who you are. Most disappointing today is that Glen called it right earlier on this very board with his "scenario 1". Divided we fall...

Wonder how happy the hammers are with his total football tonight.

If Balaji sees Guest with the Kean out top it could motivate him to get rid. Master stroke whoever invited Dave along today..,
King Kenny's Magic Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 Was on I'm a celebrity a while back. Think he was on one of Liz Taylor's many husbands. Liza Manelli's ex. He divorced her for constantly @#/? him when she got pisshed.
Exiled_Rover Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 Excellent 4 star show from the Yak today.I had forgot what it feels like to actually enjoy us winning a game, the feeling of elation instead of being depressed but..... ONE SWALLOW A SUMMER DOTH NOT MAKE! I listened with amazement to Radio Lancashire,Kevin Gallagher almost puzzled as to why the fans were protesting today...absolutely beggered belief after what has happened under Kean!!.More texts from so called supporters slagging off the protestors saying lay off Kean, give him a break!! (WOW! we've won a game FFS) MUST be Burnley fans...MUST be! Nope, just your typical person - most can't see further than the end of their nose. A win means everything is rosy at Ewood.
Blue n White Rover Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 Like I stated, I am not for or against the protests. I don't join in because I don't like chanting against my club. That doesn't mean I don't want Kean out. I just feel it affects the players more than it does to Kean's position. Protest after the game, no problem, but just not during the game when we're at a critical stage of the match.
FourLaneBlue Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 That old chestnut. Good old allardyce. Wonder how happy the hammers are with his total football tonight. Great response. Even with today's loss, West Ham still stand six points clear of third while we are in the relegation zone. Still...only today's games matter, don't they? End of the day...a routine win that any team, no matter how poor, will have during the season. If we win at Sunderland, then that might be something to be worth considering along the lines of the players backing Kean.
Backroom Tom Posted December 3, 2011 Backroom Posted December 3, 2011 Gest was there with Robbo's dad for some reason Stolen from facebook

If we win at Sunderland, then that might be something to be worth considering along the lines of the players backing Kean. To be fair - West Ham should walk that league with their squad. Was Swansea at home bread and butter for Dalglish a couple of weeks ago? United only beat them 1-0 last week.
Mattie456 Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 Great response. Even with today's loss, West Ham still stand six points clear of third while we are in the relegation zone. Still...only today's games matter, don't they? Far from it FLB our problems are still very very real and one victory undoubtedly papers over the cracks. However the big Sam love in is becoming incredibly tiresome. Let it go.
FourLaneBlue Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 Mattie - my comment wasn't about Sam, it was about how low Kean has taken us that ANY win is seen as a turning point etc. I could have mentioned Hughes instead, it was just that Sam was more recent. However, don't want to turn this thread into a Sam debate, so best to let it go. We get a win at Sunderland...and that is worth thinking about. Kean has never managed two league victories in a row.
booth Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 David Gest. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Gest I know what you mean. Also, booing Yak for going over to Kean after he scored...why? The only thing tiresome about getting a win, apart than Kean staying in a job is that Arran re-emerges ready to polish Steve Kean's helmet by any means necessary.
ebenrocks Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 Like I stated, I am not for or against the protests. I don't join in because I don't like chanting against my club. That doesn't mean I don't want Kean out. I just feel it affects the players more than it does to Kean's position. Protest after the game, no problem, but just not during the game when we're at a critical stage of the match. But you're not chanting against your club, you're chanting FOR your club in order that we can get a shred of decency back into OUR club. I thought that was one of the most obvious things going. Also, it cant affect the players that much. We chanted throughout the whole game today and won 4-2... Yak must love it.
Baz Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 To be fair - West Ham should walk that league with their squad. Was Swansea at home bread and butter for Dalglish a couple of weeks ago? United only beat them 1-0 last week. On Tuesday we got beat by a mid-table Championship team, whats your point? Its 2 wins this season. Lets see where we are next Saturday night. As for West Ham - you still have to go win games - do you think Kean would get us out of the championship, even with our current squad?
booth Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 Excellent 4 star show from the Yak today.I had forgot what it feels like to actually enjoy us winning a game, the feeling of elation instead of being depressed but..... (WOW! we've won a game FFS) MUST be Burnley fans...MUST be! More than likely they are people who don't actually attend games but watch the MOTD highlights and positive pressers. Tomorrow they'll be ringing in about embroidery. These same people will vanish should we get relegated, a bit like some of the Keanolytes on here who disappear but then re-emerge should we get so much as a point from a game.
King Kenny's Magic Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 Gest was there with Robbo's dad for some reason Stolen from facebook I'm loving that pic, sack Maggie Thatcher as our honoury chairperson and give the role to Gest! I'm off to a wedding do now, time to get pisshed and do some dad dancing! Have a good evening everyone!
sijoco Posted December 3, 2011 Author Posted December 3, 2011 Hopefully that'll shut the idiots up who think chanting for Kean to go during the game effects the players in someway . We deserved to win, Swansea had plenty of possession but had very little bite - yet they still scored 2.
