AllRoverAsia Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Lets savour the moment and thanks for this late Christmas Present. A special thanks to the Yak for giving Jones a lesson.
dazmaz Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Great 3 points, lets just hope that we can keep this kind of run going for the next 19 games.
Amo Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 At least we can go down knowing we stuffed Utd at OT.
bigbrandjohn Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 The holiday results of the decade for us. What odds away draw at Liverpool and win at United. The belief of the youngsters and the guile of the yak was a thrill to behold. new narrative for the New Year.
Doug Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Didn't want to post this during game but I put a couple of quid on Rovers at 2-2, got 16/1. Well done lads, who knows, the great escape may just be on!!
yorkblue Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Massive 3 points and some immense performances...Bunn, Samba, Hanley, Yakubu. Don't care about it helping Kean. He will never be sacked so points mean everything.
EWOODACE1 Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 for once kean deserves credit. cant forgive him for the last 12 months but a win at old trafford and a draw at liverpool ill give him some credit. still has to go though
Clitherover Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 I cannot effing believe it, this has made it a New Years Eve to remember. I really hope this is us turning a corner. And dare I say it, well done Steve Kean.
EWOODACE1 Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 i think having youngsters in helped. no fear
imy9 Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Well done to Steve Kean and the boys for a brilliant victory! Look at the table the climb out is not impossible, our young players are doing the club proud. Hanley is playing out of his skin, even Petrovic had a food game, these two games have balanced out the two shocking home defeats now onwards and upwards to the next game, I have not felt this happy in ages.
grizfoot Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Biggest shock result in Premier League history? Brilliant stuff, The Yak was world-class today, judas Phil made to look very ordinary.
Neal Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 What just happened? I'm so so proud of our young lads. Henley and Hanley were absolutely fantastic. Thought Petrovic was efficient and for once I think he deserves some For the first time in a long time I'm proud to say I'm a rovers supporter. Rovers till I die.
eire3382 Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Great result today, credit to the players. For the perfect christmas period the bald idiot needs sacking. KEAN OUT!
The Rover of Finland Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Made my day big time. Nice to send text messages Happy New Year to Utd friends. There is five of them. Happy birthday Sir Alex. Haha!
Andy Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Wow! It doesn't make up for the previous 12 months of dross under Kean, but what a result. Stick with the youngsters, they are fearless. Bunn did well again, Hanley has had 2/3 good games in a row now and I was very impressed with Henley again. Petrovic was decent and Yakubu is just a machine. Delighted with the 3 points. Doesn't make Kean any less useless, but well done today.
Pugg Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 So so happy. GOT to do it against the 'lesser' teams now and we could survive! The youngsters are impressing, Hanley looking miles better after a few appearances. Peds was awful.
Stuart Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 I'm going to say... We caught United on a very off day - I've never seen them so lethargic and we still conceded 2 goals (again). However, it feels damn good to stick it on United at their place. At least if we are relegated, we will have that. There'll be a lot of faces like slapped arses at work next week. Going to enjoy this with a few beers.
Elegia Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 for once kean deserves credit. cant forgive him for the last 12 months but a win at old trafford and a draw at liverpool ill give him some credit. still has to go though Agreed. Was also impressed to see him telling the players to go down and clap the travelling fans. Big result. A very happy day for this Rover - at last!!!
Darwen Rover Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Biggest result in ten years... To say I'm shocked is an understatement... No Dunn made a huge dufference for me!! COYB!!!
King Kenny's Magic Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 That was a bit different to my 9-2 prediction. Lets not forget it was Uniteds reserve team but still, top result!!!
