G Somerset Rover
Willo seemed very stationary too. May as well go for it now - nothing to lose.

Amo
That was effing dreadful from Cairney. Should've crossed it first time, instead he turns onto his left and fluffs it.

Backroom DE. Posted April 8, 2015 Backroom Share Posted April 8, 2015 Baptiste off injured, had a very good game. Unfortunate we don't have somebody better than Cairney in the centre, a more effective player would have made more of the space afforded tonight. Unfortunate we don't have somebody better than Cairney in the centre, a more effective player would have made more of the space afforded tonight. Every attacking minded player has been totally ineffective They took a long time to score but so far it's been too easy for liverpool not enough letting them know they are in a game
G Somerset Rover
Fear it's goodnight Vienna - we can't clear our lines. Although we've been resolute tonight (bar one moment) we've been very poor from an attacking point of view.
rickard
I think Henley has been playing really well tonight. Not easy marking Sterling, but he has been kept rather quiet I think.

We needed to take at least one of the two good chances we had, because we weren't going to get much more than that.

G Somerset Rover
One big lapse of concentration has cost us dearly. Looked to be a mix between Willo and Rhodes. Well done to the players for the effort tonight though - did the club proud.

Backroom DE. Posted April 8, 2015 Backroom Share Posted April 8, 2015 Ah well, that's it for this season then. Decent performance when we were in our own half. Liverpool were poor but unfortunately we didn't have the quality to take our chances when they came. On another day we might have been 2-0 up after 50 mins, but it just wasn't meant to be today. Can't fault the effort or application of most of the players, and we gave them a real scare at the end.
Backroom Tom Posted April 8, 2015 Backroom Share Posted April 8, 2015 Well we weren't embarassed at all. The manager got it right enough with the shape and as a unit we worked well but too many players just didn't perform - basically anyone in front of defensive midfield was poor to shocking. However great showings from Eastwood, Williamson, Henley, Baptiste and Killgallon
