RevidgeBlue Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 Birmingham City have parted company with manager Gary Rowett. More to follow. https://t.co/EMYZg1cEOMhttps://t.co/M1UcYHsA8c Didn't even know Rowett had been dispensed with. As everyone else has said we should be all over that like a rash just as we should have been when Bowyer was struggling and it was announced Warburton would be leaving Brentford at the end of that season.

AggyBlue Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 Hudders 2 - 1 up at Norwich at half time. They are playing really well and doing to Norwich what they did to us.
LDRover Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 Who was the poster who mentioned Aaron Mooy as a potential loan target? Fair play to whoever it was (Bris Rover I think) he's a proper midfielder...everything J-Lo isn't.
Backroom DE. Posted December 20, 2016 Backroom Posted December 20, 2016 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38383257 Huddersfield's manager turned down Wolfsburg, Interesting. I wonder how much he is being paid there, or what his potential promotion bonus is?
chaddyrovers Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 Looking like Rhodes will be heading to Villa in January for 12 million pounds https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/2483194/middlebrough-transfer-news-jordan-rhodes-will-cost-aston-villa-12million-if-they-make-swoop/
Husky Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 Come on Brighton give us another. #Hope Right on cue................. 3-0!
DanielMB Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 QPR really got screwed by the ref on that red card. Not even a freekick should have been given.
Husky Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 QPR really got screwed by the ref on that red card. Not even a freekick should have been given. That's Holloway's excuse sorted.
DanielMB Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 Ha That would be Coyle´esqu. Brighton have dominated from start til now.
LDRover Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 Tell you what, Keith Andrews is a pretty good pundit to be fair to him.
JHRover Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 QPR's terrible run of form is what is giving us a tiny glimmer of survival, but only if we change manager soon to whip this squad into shape quickly. At the moment despite our terrible run of results we're still in touch with Burton and QPR who are the two sides we need to be concentrating on getting above. We can forget about Wolves and Cardiff because they won't be going down.
tomphil Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 It's debatable what Keith Andrews should be done for crimes against football or crimes against hair
Norbert Rassragr Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 Always thought Andrews really tried to be a football player............but failed. Like Emile Heskey, who really put the effort in, but had no ability.
chor808 Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 Burton pulling away tonight leaving us 3 point adrift.
chaddyrovers Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 Leeds looking excellent today. Monk done a good job there. I suggested him for Rovers job
JHRover Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 More evidence along with Reading, Huddersfield and Brighton that you don't need billionaire investment or parachute money. In Leeds case you don't even need time or a sensible owner. Just a chance to do a job which these crooks won't even afford to their managers.
Mike Graham Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 Leeds are full of confidence. A team playing for each other.
G Somerset Rover Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 Huge result for Burton if they pull this off. Puts us further into the brown stuff. Oh well, not a chance we can be relegated, Coyle said so.
JHRover Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 I wonder what Burton's wage bill is compared to ours?
chaddyrovers Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 Look at the job Grayson is doing at Preston or the job Rowett did at Birmingham. You dont need to millions in this league but you need a proper manager at this level. Leeds have spend 6 or 7 million this summer. Huddersfield about 5 million. Fulham and Barnsley havent millions but both had good managers.
G Somerset Rover Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 FT. 3 points from safety, 5 behind Burton. Desperate.
tomphil Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 Look at the squad we had a few years ago despite these crackpots. An experienced gaffer with a proper plan could have driven that team forwards. Sadly all it was about at Rovers was doing enough and giving lads games to enhance their value whilst sat in embargo as we've now seen with the guy who assembled then potted whilst they get sold off one by one and the cash disappears. Also during that time the agents had a field day sorting payoffs and moving various loans and freebies through the books whilst the parachute money underpinned the debt to keep it all going. Agents vehicle......
