As long as they got the deal sheet in on time then the Ambrose one will go through.

It takes additional time as he will need new International Clearance which comes via UEFA/FIFA.

BBC website days the issue is whether Ambrose satisfies the English FA requirement for having played in 75% of Nigeria matches in last 2 years (which he has not).

Scott Wharton isn't Nigerian and from all reports, is a better defender. I wonder why we sent him out on loan?

"One I've admired for the last couple of years", b*llocks.

You seriously expect us to believe that the Manager of Houston Dynamoes was keeping tabs on players at Nacional and subsequently at (then) mid table Sheffield Wednesday in the championship, what a load of twaddle

They can argue that injury, etc forced him to miss a large number of games. Pretty common practice, very few permits get turned down these days.

I can't remember him at all, I think Ambrose playing in the champions league and it being a loan may also come into play. The SFA will hold his registration where he has been granted permission to play, this is a temporary transfer of registration albeit to a different governing body, so he will also require international clearance.

Wednesday season ticket holder in the family says Joao is a world beater on his day, but he's never had that day at Wednesday.

Body language is shocking and he's lazy, sounds right up our street.

Don't worry Coyley has been tracking him for years. :tu:

Coyle lined up 3 players and we signed none of these in this transfer window.

Coyle lined up Ba signing here permanent on deadline day. Only to be told loan players.

Clearly Venkys, Pasha and Senior arent telling Coyle the budget or didnt rate his players choices.

No clear plan of who we should be targeting this window.

If Venkys havent sold the club by the summer then we need a clear budget and plan. Senior should be making plans for this now. Some good players available in the summer on a free. We know this wont happen but it is what is needed.

Miss out on some good players who were cheap deals in January and players from lower leagues but Venkys provide zero funds. Pathetic

Perfect for our dog fight. Cheers, Paul.

Senior said in his smarmy interview that the owners would provide cash for signings if the right players were available.

I can only take that to mean he lied.

Unless in a month there wasn't a single player in all of world football that could have improved this squad even slightly to get us out of this relegation fight that might have been available.

Bayes & co. need to be all over this like a rash but will no doubt give Owen and Senior the freedom of the press room once again.

It is suprising that other clubs will still do business with Rovers even when it involves their worst rejects.

I dare anyone to put a positive spin on this feckin shambles.

At least the window is now shut, so we can't get lumbered with any more @#/? players

The thing is the quote could be true, because as a defender he is absolute @#/?, and this would show the level of Coyles defensive knowledge.

He must have meant owners of other clubs, as we can't have brought another liar on board can we?

I think you're getting confused with Ambrose, Coyle was talking about Jaoa

Yes it was my mistake, I am easily confused.

Reo-Coker has been finished as a decent player since mid-2011. N'Zogbia's ego wouldn't fit in our dressing room and has a terrible attitude to boot. Can't speak for the other two, but one thing's for sure, if a player is still on a free transfer after January it's not usually because they're much good.

Reo-Coker hasn't been a decent player since Champ Manager 4.

According to Coyle Joao is a terrific talent and scores all types of goals with both feet and headers - maybe he has unearthed a young Nigerian Wayne Rooney?

One of the issues of recruiting players from the Oxfam Shop rubbish bin is most of us including me dont know a thing about them.

From what I have been able to discover so far I do not believe that Joao or Ambrose are the sort of players to suit a relegation dogfight. Also Coyle has already said that he doubts Joao is match fit so its hard sessions on the ping pong table for him.
