Salgados Hair Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago You can see in this image from 2014 how the stone paving used to be a sandy brown colour. It's a dirty greeny brown colour these days. I'm not by any means an expert in stone aging, but it seems to me that it has been utterly neglected, rather than *respected* 4 Quote
Tomphil2 Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Jacks family should pay to keep that area clean it's the least they could do after landing his club with this lot. 2 Quote
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Just add Jacks Statue to the list of neglect.... 1 Quote
Popular Post Old Codger Posted 11 hours ago Popular Post Posted 11 hours ago If the Rovers was a child, social services would have been alerted a long time ago for the clear and obvious signs of neglect. Anyone can see how the club's association with football is only peripheral to whatever 'business' is actually transacted behind the scenes - it is an irrelevance and an inconvenient historical legacy that allows something else to go on without proper scrutiny. The contempt with which the decent folk of Blackburn are treated by the owners is nauseating - makes me incandescent to think they are not challenged by the so called authorities for their sad little game. VENKYS OUT! 10 Quote

A scandal that is being perpetrated in full view of those who should be ensuring it doesn't happen. Someone, somewhere has information that would blow the doors off. It is waaaay past the time for them to step forward, in the name of decency, propriety and fairness to the bona-fide supporters of Blackburn Rovers. When the club has folded will be too late, but that is clearly the trajectory that these arseholes have us on, as evidenced by the gathering of leaches and bottom feeders that flit irritatingly around the carcass settling in the deep dark waters of footballing obscurity. AndyB Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Quote from the BBC live reporting Let's start with a positive! It is not raining at Ewood Park. No chance of us not getting 90 minutes today. Quote
RevidgeBlue Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago A couple of things I noticed just from being sat in the Riverside - two broken signs need removing or replacing and the far wall needs cleaning and re- painting. Would probably cost next to nothing in the general scheme of things but just shows the owners (if they know) or more probably their lackies couldn't care less. Jack's statue needs restoring back to its original condition as well. Quote
Andy Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I actually noticed whilst driving past the stadium yesterday that they've replaced the 'Welcome to Ewood Park' sign above the JW/Darwen End corner entrance. That's this year's maintenance budget blown. Quote

They clearly dont care about the state of the facilities hence their denial of a full pitch revamp a couple of years ago. 1 Quote

At a functioning company you don't go to the CEO for menial things. There's clearly zero budget to fix things at Ewood, which is why the stadium is being left to rot. 1 Quote
