When push comes to shove they will always put the minimum amount in to keep things ticking over. Yes the priority is obviously pay wages, tax, bills but don't bother too much about team investment etc unless there is a bit of surplus from sales. Chicken industry principles - pre covid/Ukraine - where i presume minimum investment enabled maximum output = big profits from sheer volume of sales. They've been trying to create that here for a long time on 3 year cycles imo. Pity they don'y apply the same idea to season tickets. Quote

It didn't sound like the newly reconstituted role consisted of much more than overseeing things in the hospitality areas on match day tbh. Quote

You are probably correct, it’s owners that care, who would be checking how pre- season is going and how the new signings look and if they are value for money. We can hope, though I suppose. 1 Quote
wilsdenrover Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago It’s over a month since the Community Trust advised Companies House that Waggott is no longer one of their directors. The club are yet to do the same. Incompetence or something else? Quote

When will the authorities act? They've just managed to appoint a new manager. No idea why anyone would take that job on right now. Quote

Work is incredibly hard to come by as a Manager in the upper leagues, there will always be people willing to take a chance. Same with us not matter how far we sink. Quote
Ghost7 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Let's crank it up and get them all gone this season! Quote

Tomphil2 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I think any run of the mill or young manager or head coach will take the first serious job offered to them if they've been out of work a while and aren't multi millionaires. As said it's a no lose situation as you get big rewards if successful and rewarded anyway for failure, many of them are only in it for a wage and because they know nothing else. Whenever has anyone heard of a club never being able to attract a first team boss ? Quote
