Venky’s (& Suhail) Out Protest Ideas

No Chaddy it's not a realistic suggestion we use a dodgy firestick before you start.

Banners at least outside the ground pre games just something, anything! Our action group do nothing!  

Because we did it all from around 2012-2017 and nothing happened. We got slagged off all over SSN and my dad (then in his late 60s) was spat at on the concourse for wearing a Venkys Out shirt by one of our own fans.

We held joint protests with other clubs, issued joint statements, gave the red card to Venkys vs Man Utd, did the 1875 protest vs Wolves, nobody in the press (not even our own fans) gives a shit about Rovers.

We didn’t do it with anywhere near the commitment the Sheff Wed fans are showing … in just two games they’ve had a near total boycott of the concourses on Saturday, 99% of their following staying out the ground at Leicester.

We’ve had just as good organisation by the likes of Glen and others, alas the wider fanbase just hasn’t ever had the stomach for it (apart from just walking away entirely, which, of course, is the ultimate protest when your cash is involved).

I get that.

It never ceases to amaze me how many people still dismiss/ridicule/refuse to get the Rovers protest agenda. We do have to keep reminding ourselves that BRFCS is now pretty homogeneous..

After the Birmingham game, I was approached by people, actually looking for an argument.. that the club was "doing the best it can"..."Look at our attendances-Derby had 30,000 on today!"...."No-one else wants to buy us"..."Since, their original naive mistakes(!)..they have continued to keep the club afloat"....We have found our (80's) natural level..."

However, I still think we can devise eye-catching protests, if we are strategic, think smart...least effort/maximum impact etc..

At some point this season we will see protests. You are probably right in your belief that it will be results on the pitch that will be the turning point but Pasha and Gestede are increasingly adding fuel to the fire. More and more fans are getting restless.

I think you underestimate our fans.

I really don't wish it upon us, but if we are in the bottom 3 after 10 games, have not got any new signings in, prior to the window closing and we lose one more in addition to Travis, I see one hell of an uprising.

No I don’t underestimate them. I’ve seen them for fifteen years. There is no stomach for it with the majority of the match going fanbase. Doesn’t mean the likes of Glen won’t get traction elsewhere, but you need to face facts when it comes to the Ewood attendees. If we are ticking over results wise you’ll see bugger all dissent apart from a few ‘Venky’s don’t care about me’ chants and an odd banner. Even if we aren’t ticking over, a managerial change, a run of results out of the blue will quickly stub out dissent.

Wish it was different, but it just isn’t and I’m dealing with reality not what we’d like to see.

(*Though feel free to quote me with glee in November or whatever when you see weekly Sheff Wed style uprisings,I’d be delighted to eat humble pie, but I sincerely doubt it).

I don't think he's underestimating them at all. I think his observations are quite accurate.

I honestly don't know how some of these cretins can even call themselves Rovers fans. They're as much to blame for the last 15 years as the owners and their associates are. 

I think a lot of them would be quite happy seeing the team playing in the National League North with gates of 5-800 just so they can say that they're supporting their team through thick and thin. I'm assuming the thick part of that is their brains, if they've even got any. 

Nothing will be organised like what other clubs manage because of these dropkicks. 

The easiest thing to do is what many of us have done, just wash your hands of it and walk away. 

You may be a hardcore supporter of venky fc but don't ever try and tell me that you're a Rovers fan because you're fucking not.

Like I said if the team is doing badly, bottom of the league, then you’ll get chants… we then win a couple, or we get a new manager, then it stops, just like late last season, just like when Eustace arrived.

As always, the actual protest is folk walking away. They’ve done it in droves ever since our 25,000 average crowd in 2010… but unlike most normal owners where that would ring very loud alarm bells… this lot couldn’t. give. a. fuck.

Change will come, if it ever does, from the likes of Glen away from Ewood Park.

I honestly believe this season we could easily lose the first seven league fixtures  .

The squad is bereft of talent ,most of the new signings are from relegated clubs in leagues below our present status.

Fully believe we'll lose our first 7 league games.

We'll somehow scrape a win against Swansea on 30th September before going on another losing run, maybe with a couple of draws in there.

Not really a protest idea but one to annoy the powers at Rovers, I suggest a slight tweak to the recent Tommy Robinson chant - to confirm I’m not backing the recent chants I’m simply trying put a positive twist on it

Leo duru a future rb for the club in my eyes better than monty who is only playing cause val likes height

Rovers say its a loan until october when amercian season finishes 

The american club say its until 2026 with a view to buy for few hundred thousand. 

pasha see's that as 110% profit on the books like the clown he is and not willing to develop a player just like when he came out and said didnt no if adam wharton would make it. 

Im telling you now his idea to down grade the academy is happening aswell mark my words i was told this is a reason why Jones left total refusing to fund coaches needs and academy needs - there was only waggot by his self who kept the academy at cat 1 statues .   

Finaly the other news of a player being banned  TRAVIS - Which the club has wanted for age after the racism inquest what went on 

 

Buckley t& Leomard to find new clubs by there selfs and not needed 

 

The club is wrotten to the dam core

The 3 musketeers are killing everything left of the club all for own personal gains ,     Us fans need to ramp up against them all now - 18month time we will be league 1 fighting another relegation battle if nothing is done

to me it reads they aren’t billionaires that we all think they are… ? Having used a bit of chat gpt as well it doesn’t exactly sound there’s any proof they are billionaires. Few statements in that article also stating there was no information about where they used the money to acquire us. 
I know it’s old news but thought I’d give it some old spotlight, especially when we are still linked to hiring people of similar agencies…

Somewhere i have saved an article from the takeover time from an Indian business website who published an article on it and it stated they were using a bank loan for the purchase.

I can't remember which bank it said it was but i know it wasn't the usual State Bank of India.

It's always been my view that however it was purchased they got that money back pretty quickly through player sales.

For balance though that article quotes only one bit of the company - Venkys India Ltd - which itself comes under the main head company of VH Group.
