Is this claptrap in response to a specific incident or is it just a "We dont want to hear any criticism inside the stadium?" type thing?

It's probably from reading people like me on here, saying that I think Ismael is a dud manager and that Gueye is one of the worst players in the club's history. It is harsh sentiment, but it's not abuse and it's an opinion about a professional's ability to do a job they're paid to do. I spend all my hard earned money following this dud manager and these crap players round the country, so I can say what I like about them as long as it's not illegal or bigoted.

Edit: Don't agree on Gueye but in my opinion Ismael IS one of the worst managers in the Club's history - the stats prove it.

That's not to say that slippery Steve was a suitable manager of the club or representative of it, but he at least had some know-how and PR abilities which enabled him to pacify the fanbase and dilute anger quite effectively. A human shield who was quite skilled in calming things down and giving people answers (even if nothing actually happened from there). 

Since he exited the scene the remaining lot haven't got close to his skills and so it has rapidly descended into conflict because everyone can see what they are really like down there now.

Let's have it right, Waggott was the penny pinching, downsizing architect of our destruction. I never bought a single word of his bullshit personally but just because he was arguably slightly better at putting the thinnest veneer of respectability on things, that doesn't mean that in reality things are any worse now than before.

We're just continuing on apace down the road to oblivion he set us on.

Sad but true.

It seems our supporters don't have the stomach for a fight and apathy reigns supreme.

IMO, the only answer and perhaps catalyst for change is for all to keep away from Ewood and let the mass of empty seats speak for itself

You're mistakenly assuming Venky's cared enough to micromanage Waggott's every decision.

He could have gone down a completely different route and tried to grow the Club long term to meet his financial targets but took the exact opposite strategy of trying to steadily squeeze more and more money out of an ever diminishing fan base.

Every Club he's been at temporarily tanked under his stewardship then recovered thereafter.

More baffling attempts from you to exonerate anyone other than the owners from any blame whatsoever.

Oh I agree, my views on him have been made clear many times.

Just from the perspective of the remaining regime, thrashing around as they are, I imagine things were much much easier for them when they had the shield of a Waggott there to absorb the boos and complaints and a Mowbray type figure to sit in the dugout and deliver competent results whilst tolerating their rubbish.

Now without those two or even a JDT / Eustace to diver attention to results they're struggling big time.
