She's always seemed very popular with players going off their social media. People like her being made redundant while Waggott gets a big pay rise. Feel ill at the fact that I've renewed my season ticket. You were fully informed about what you were signing up for. Quote

Gav Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I don’t know to much about these redundancies, but if you’ve been working at the club for over30yrs, you’re about to get a golden handshake in redundancy pay, I’d be over the bloody moon!! Many people retire with a pint down the pub if they’re lucky, but I don’t know the details. Quote

Statutory redundancy pay isn't great, and i can't imagine the club has gone above and beyond for anyone if made redundant. 1 Quote

Last time I was involved it was 1.5 weeks pay x 30yrs, or length of service, but this may have now been capped at 20yrs. But again, I don’t know the people or circumstances. Quote

No idea how old Leslie is or the annual salary for that position so like you say guesswork with circumstances. Hopefully they have looked after her with an enhanced package but probably unlikely under this regime. 1 Quote

But the thought of giving any money at all to Waggot, Pasha and Venky’s is a horrible one. I won't be going to most games this season, because of altered kick-off times that i cannot make due to public transport. Quote

Yes - a real downside of the ever changing kick off times is for many this messes up transport. Is it worth (on these forums somewhere?) seeing if there someone near you who would carshare to matches? I live in Swindon and I did that years ago on here and someone messaged me and I was able to get to a few more games. Quote
Mattyblue Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago My father in law who has been going since the late 1950s hasn’t renewed, for him it was the TV factor. He has Sky and he has a fair drive to games, so the fact he could see two thirds of our home games on TV made it a much easier decision. Quote

Very true and capped , unless you can agree an enhanced package If you were made redundant on or after 6 April 2025, your weekly pay is capped at £719 and the maximum statutory redundancy pay you can get is £21,570. If you were made redundant before 6 April 2025, these amounts will be lower. Quote

I imagine she’d rather be keeping her job though. Edited 5 hours ago by wilsdenrover Quote
funny-old-game Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago No doubt she'll have to sign the usual ( keep your gob shut on this shit show ) NDA and get a better pay off with the stuff she probably knows 😉 Quote

You literally sign an NDA before joining any company? Quote
