True. Distribution was ok, positioning wasn't horrible.

If we can continue to protect him like that for most of the games he needs to play, we might be able to get by.

Pears did fine today but he was against a Eustace well oiled machine meaning all he had to do really was pick the ball out the net twice.

He'll not have a less pressured game all season the big test is on Friday night in 2 weeks.

He was mostly protected by the fact that Derby were ahead and sat back, more than because our defence actually did much though. Could get messy against Preston unless we get a few back. Could anyway.

True, but in the context of Pears, he has several major ricks in him each season.

Neither keeper had a save of note to make today ! Unfortunately, we still conceded two goals.
