StHelensRover Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Just thinking about the line-ups and the performances this week. Does anyone think VI might be daring the club to sack him? So he can get his final pay packet and retire? I know the squad is bereft, but starting the exact same line-up today as we had on Monday and expecting anything different seemed a bizarre decision. I wonder whether he's doing it to prove a point about needing signings, or signalling that he has given up and run out of ideas. Quote

Would be my guess I don't think he would mind being sacked (and the resulting payoff), but until that happens, he is "fully aligned" to enough of an extent as to not kick up too much of a fuss. If that changes, and Ismael turns into the next JDT/Eustace, then our glorious leadership have reached new depths Edited 2 hours ago by KentExile 3 Quote
Tomphil2 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago If you look at VI's record it certainly reeks of being fond of payoffs he's like a poundland Mourinho. Also the length of his deal whiffs as well and i wonder who it would be divi'd up between should it get paid out ! 2 Quote
John Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Looks like VI gave up on today’s match - not as animated on the touchline as in recent games. He kept looking down and seemed like he had no ideas… Quote

simongarnerisgod Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago val did look p****d off today, most likely been told there is no money for incomings, maybe he`s thinking of doing a eustace/jdt,i would`nt blame him 1 Quote
Waggy76 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I think today , we were not interested from the kick off ,this squad (i wont call them footballers ) are the worst I have witnessed in over 55years of watching . The manager is way way out of his depth , in my opinion , we are worse than Sheff Wed. Absolutely appalling that today , like our last 2 relegations , the fans were predicting it at the start of the season . This one Venkys and their acolytes will put us in the wilderness for years . Nobody gives a fuck ! 15 years of mismanagement ! Quote
