Nixon's latest lies? He has reported Rovers have an option to buy him for 1m and Rovers haven't made their mind yet, so how is that lies?

I think that quote from Gestede is just the another bit of waffle / lying through his teeth. The way it was worded made it seem as though we had a £5million transfer budget last year. We're investing, generous owners blah, blah, blah. Like hell we'd have spent that money without the mammoth sales.

Will be the same this year... Suits to say we have a similar budget again. Fans expecting £5million investment. There's zero chance that happens without sales. It just helps to try and shift more season tickets. 

To cut to the crux of it, it's a big fat lie that this seasons transfer budget isn't affected by selling players.

When will you ever learn his job is to write stuff and to do that he has to make stuff up.

If you think Rovers will spend a million quid they haven't got on a back up defender (who is worth about half that) then good luck to you.

By the way the Brum end dismiss the 1 million figure out of hand they paid double and want that back.

If we are looking at hunches & guesswork, then surely Sanderson is more likely to end up at Derby than he is to turn up at Rovers, and also more likely to be at Derby next season than Dolan? (there are plenty on here that see Dolan to Derby as a sure thing, I don't  buy it personally, but if anyone does think it will happen, then by the same logic, then Sanderson to Derby should be even more nailed on)

On the face of it they loaned us a lad who'd only just turned 25, was a regular for a few season until manager change and off field issue, and we are to believe a 1 million buy clause was inserted ?

No chance, if there ever was one it would be more than that and this club can't spend even 1 million on bench fodder.

It's a non story chucked in by the pot stirrer on behalf of an agent imo.

I think the budget is similar, but it doesn't just include transfer fees. 

So, signing Dennis on loan and paying 20,000 a week comes out of the transfer budget, not out of the wage budget (from a budget line perspective). 

Additional transfer revenue will have little to no impact on the transfer budget available.

In theory, why wouldn't he be staying? He's still under contract for another year, and no interest or bid has been reported for him.

Retaining Brittain would be a coup to be honest as i expect him to have another good season under Ismael next season, hopefully injury free and he'll retain some value.

Fast going into the cult status books if he keeps it up we not had a solid right back getting forwards and providing assists since ?

They were the only others that sprang to mind but obviously both Prem quality players who cost a few quid so we'd expect a bit more from them, Bert more of a wing back.

Marshall looked ok in a few stints there but other than that there's been sod all in the last decade plus.

All selling players does is reduce the pressure on our billionaire owners a bit to cover the shortfall.

he`s not been offered new contract,neither have tronsdadt or travis,no talks have taken place
