With all the money we have brought in. And right after getting compo for Eustace and Ismael for no compo. Pathetic. What if that extra coaching had got our shit together one game earlier and landed us in the playoffs? This club are the absolute masters of false economy. 6 Quote

They shunted Lowe to another role or something, assumed he was now back as a coach again. Who knows, can't keep up these days. Classic Venkys that, you can have that guy as a coach, as long as he resigns so we pay no compo π€‘ 2 Quote
Tomphil2 Posted yesterday at 14:52 Posted yesterday at 14:52 Wasn't Ismael supposed to have a 3 month clause ? Maybe the eastleigh guy thought it better to wait. 6 Quote

I think ACD has a lot of qualities that will serve him well at Premier League level, heβll win a lot more fouls up there than he did with us and not be burdened with defensive work as much. I thought Ayari looked like a very good player and I was disappointed he didn't play more under JDT. Remember whenΒ Ki-Jana Hoever (an athletic RB) absolutely roasted Dolan for two goals in a game against Stoke? That'll happen to ACD every week if he plays in the PL.Β The game at the top level has become one of athleticism and systems. I just don't see where ACD fits in and thrives with his lack of athleticism.Β Quote

We're a shell of a football club.Β It's incredible we've been there or there abouts for the Playoffs the last three seasons (fell apart last year in December obviously) as we basically do absolutely everything wrong off the pitch. 3 Quote

That "prem" winger loan was absolutely crucial, suspect the club thought they'd brought in a tricky Saka type player that could make the difference. I thought they might have. Turns out he wasn't up to the mens game at all and it resulted in us relying on Dolan again in nearly every game. If they'd got this loan position right, with an Omari Hutchinson or Rak-Sakyi type we'd probably have made the playoffs...... but those loans cost money. It really does feel as though Β£500,000 - Β£1,500,000 cut here and there from season to season has damaged some of the best chances we'll ever get of getting back to the Premier League. As others have suggested when you look at the margins and how we've been closer more often at crucial points in a season than many other teams - without ever quite taking it seriously enough, going up really doesn't appear to be the goal. It's always an gamble...what if ACD turned out good...had a really good game home to Luton but didn't move on that performance 1 Quote
Ghost7 Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago (edited) Certainly is always more of a gamble at Rovers due to the lack of significant loan fees paid for the better talents. Edited 17 hours ago by Ghost7 Quote
