Of course we will miss him. He is our best wide man and possibly our best attacking player, although that isnt saying much.

Put it this way, if we signed a player of his level from another Championship club, our fans would be excited. Even if we signed a player showing similar numbers in an inferior foreign league but with an exotic name, they would.

If he ever develops a better football mind and a more frequent end product he will be quite a valuable player.Β  The IF is the gamble.Β  I think we will miss him more that we expect.

Depending on how Ismael intends to set up he could be replaced by a quicker more direct guy who equally struggles for end product, does half the graft and is way less robust.

I trust the Dolan critics already have a Kargbo chant lined up to show their approval...😜

If we were skint as you say then we wouldn't buying players for transfers fees would we? and still looking more money on centre back signing.Β

Yes there are some jobs need doing around the stadium, etc but that down to Rovers owners and management authorising for the work to get done and financing it.Β

You know the reasons why both head coach threw the towel in as you say.Β

People have been wanted Lowe out for years and now he has gone, you are complaining about and you have said that each head coach should be allow to bring in their own staff in.Β

Waggott? didn't you want him gone anyway?Β

Yes some staff and left but their roles have been advertised or filled already. Did I want those good people to go who have been here for years of course not but their roles are still there and been advertised last month.Β

The transfers fees that we have received over the last 2 years have gone to fund the losses the club have made over those 2 years.Β

final point, nowhere have I said everything is hunky dory have I but I reply to your skint comment which isn't true as I said but we want the club to be run very differently and under new owners with people who know what the clubs means, be here to run the club and make the club the heartbeat of the community.Β

Brother .... i deeply respect your posts and for me all rovers fans are brothers in arms..even when we agree or when we agree to disagree ..

but WHAT ARE YOU SMOKING ? lol....

these chicken chingas has been nothing but skint when it come to rovers starting from the infamous interview of leasing players in 2012.... for everything to even ground management to sponsers to corporate offers ... no1 penny pinchers... i even have reason to believe our drop to championship was a plan as this is the perfect milking spot... We are the only club who dropped from PL and not once reached playoff since dropping from PL and with numerous times falling off exactly dec-feb but miraculously win promotion from L1 on first try...Β

this plot is unrealistic for movies but it's our miserable story

According to Derby ITK’s on twitter there has been no contact between Dolan’s agent and Rovers. No idea if that’s true, but it would tie in with the emerging pattern that the club is not engaging with the higher earners over contract extensions, or those wanting to become the higher earners.Β

I am just waiting for the Cantwell to Derby scoop to come out.

How long are Rovers fans meant to watch the life being strangled out of their club?

I guarantee every other fanbase would be down to the bare bones in the ground, like we are, if they found themselves in our situation.

As long as we can take it mate.Β  We have to outlast them scum in India, sad thing is I don't think I will kive to see them gone.

From tomorrow Rovers won't be paying the wages of the out of contract players including loans. How much will they be saving on the wages of Dolan, Batth, Weimann, Woodrow, Beck and Dennis?Β

It looks like it is close to 80k that they are saving on those players.

I've seen the following site mentioned by a few neutrals as being the most reliable when it comes to player wages:

https://www.capology.com/club/blackburn/salaries/

Assuming the above is correct, Brittain and Batth are already on 10k a week. If the whisper about a self imposed 10k a week limit is true, then we can see why Batth and Brittain haven't signed new deals so far.

Forshaw has come in and is on 10k according to that, whilst Travis is supposedly on 3.4k. It has often been said that they have a different wage approach when it comes to Academy products.

Dolan on Β£577 a week sounds ridiculous for a Championship first team regular, but it is believable under this setup.

Nothing would surprise me with what they do and don't pay but i think that above estimates are just crazy guesswork in a lot of cases.

If not we are seriously being run by some agents again who must have the directors in their pockets.

β€˜β€¦ will not get much compensation’ - surely if he moves abroad we’d get no compensation.

I think there are either UEFA or FIFA guidelines on compensation, but they are pretty minimal

Yeh that looks like him.

Let's get the popcorn ready when Travis is sold and replaced with Liverpools 5th choice kid on loan.

Blackburn make bid for Brazilian playmaker Ronaldinho

Who remembers this? I do....and also remember thinking what on earth is going on.Β

Some of these actual BBC quotes are, well, bonkers. Knew then we were doomed......

Β

And Desai added: "The impression is I've never watched a football match. I've not watched in a stadium but I have been watching the World Cup in India.

"I have watched hundreds of cricket matches but not live - it's all on TV. To say I don't have any knowledge would be wrong. I am a good listener.

"The fans have to trust us and give us some time and you will see for yourself that we are sincere people, very passionate about the football team and football club and our fans. We will not let you down."

Desai also told Sky Sports News that they were looking at a couple of other players.

"We're thinking of getting Damien Duff back," she said.
