Without wishing to set everyone off on a rant about how I should never be allowed to darken the doors of a football stadium again because I dont rate Tronstad, I didn't see much different from him yesterday to how I perceive him in general. I just see him as a bit of a nothing player.

I’m thinking of attending a match (first one since the Oxford promotion one!) but my wife would need to make a rota request so I can have our car for the day.

You are at a peak of parroting everything the club does. For one, we dont know how much Ismael rates Baradji. But yes, he did have a medical here, which he failed! He was poor yesterday no denying that but a nothing player is frankly an awful take won out player of the year last season

When the entire team has imploded in the 2nd half of the season maybe it's not quite that much of a badge of honour.

Hyam won it a couple of years ago and I dont rate him either.

Edit: Genuine question - why do you think Tronstad never seems to attract much outside interest? It doesn't surprise me but it must be a major surprise to everyone else  who seem to rate him so highly?

They need to come up with a convincing reason for his departure at this juncture, so grossly exaggerated figures will fit will with the 'poor little Rovers can't compete with that' narrative.

Which is why we should have offered these players deals far sooner, if we even have at all.

At least we can replace another proven Championship experienced player with a no mark from some backwater.
