You really believe that's a possibility?

It's obviously a possibility, whether it happens is another thing.Β

I wish they'd go tomorrow and we get a shiny new owner, but we both know it isn't happening.Β

Doesn't change the fact it's all that matters. Waggott, Gestede, whoever. The ceiling is mid-table championship nobodies while Venkys are here.

To discuss the colour of the deckchairs on the Titanic for a second though... I have zero faith in Gestede. Even ignoring him giving me snake oil salesman vibes, he's unfathomably underqualified to be the "Head of Football Operations" at a club the size of Rovers.

So he might be a success (which, I suppose is to keep us in the championship for the next 3 or so years), but chances are he won't be.

It was Waggott out, now it's Gestede out, it wouldn't matter who replaced Gestede, it would be get them out, which is why I take any criticism from certain posters with a pinch of salt

For quite some time it has been: Waggott out, Pasha out, Gestede out, Venkys out. It isn't a case of just wanting one gone, or posters blowing with the wind. It would matter who replaced Gestede, but whilst Venkys are in charge it will invariably be someone corrupt, incompetent, or both.

Regardless of whether you think he will or not, would you like Gestede to make a success of things?Β

I watched the Atletico v Espanyol game and was struck by how different Dolan was in his willingness to cross early. His first involvement in the game he did his trademark slow down to try and speed up routine and got clamped fairly easily. From there on it was a case of touch out of his feet and whip it in, he looked effective to be fair to the lad.

Fair point on the first part, Chaddy.

However, please consider the following:

1) At least 11 people connected to the club have shared their experiences, issues and feelings about the club recently with Glen. All of those people have cited the hierarchy as being the problem and have mainly referred to one person in particular.

As you know, Glen has come up with valuable info numerous times over the years and doesn't post these things on a whim.

2) On the other side of the equation, we've seen a couple of ITK's come out in recent times blaming former managers, players and some current players for leaving/wanting to leave. The general theme from these ITK's has been along the lines of those managers/players being snakes, knobheads, greedy, egotistical, unrealistic, demanding, spoilt and so on.

This line of info leaking out, is clearly pro regime, pro Pasha, pro Gestede, even if the person sharing it doesn't intend it to be so. Folk like Unleaded are probably sharing what they have been told in good faith based on what he deems to be good sources. Fair enough.

Surely though, you and everybody else can see the possibility that there is a split in the camp. There is conflicting info being shared. Both sides can't be right. It depends who you choose to believe at the end of the day.

Personally, after experiencing 15 years of this shit show and seeing consecutive managers leave in the same way recently... it's not a question for me as to who I believe. The same patterns are repeating themselves. The same root cause.

Those who defend the hierarchy within the fanbase, do not like what Glen and the Coalition are doing. They do not like what we say on here, because it hits a nerve. It shakes their fake positive bubble to listen to and read what we have to say.

I've not seen it myself, but posters say Unleaded was critical of the Coalition statement. Why is that? We are trying to get our club back and that statement was about putting the truth out there.

Instead of the "just be positive, man" stuff, look at actual happenings at the club. If things are genuinely positive at the club and whoever says otherwise is just a moaning bastard, why have all the recent departures happened?

If people are fond of looking for snakes, they don't need to go to Derby or Sweden or Spain to find one. I suggest they look 'closer to home'.

I have seen what has Glen posted about that subject but I am not privy to what he knows or what these certain people have said to him. I have worked for some bosses I don't get with personally or vice versa where I get well with them whilst others have the completely opposite viewpoint.

Unleaded is a good man and someone who has plenty of inside info, I don't know if he is on other social media but it was only a few months ago someone accused myself of saying something on Rovers facebook page cos that person had the same surname as myself, It wasn't myself who posted those comments on that facebook page so I warned caution against accusing people without actually knowing its them.Β

Different people have left for different reasons. I read plenty of rumours like we had Brittain was set to new contract here then 2 days later, Boro and Derby put bids in for him. I heard some people on Saturday mentioned that they heard/been told, Brittain wanting 30k a week here or Pears is off to Manchester United this week or Eustace didn't want to leave for Derby. What is right or partially right or wrong, I don't know these days. Plenty of rumours I heard being discussed pre and during matches at Ewood.Β

I am naturally a positive person and half glass full man. That's how I am and I would be changing from that but I will try to take abit more of objective look at certain things/info when posted.Β

I would also add that every Rovers fan is entitled to their opinion and they opinion isn't wrong cos they don't agree with certain fan or supporter group/coalition or different opinions posted on here, or other social media. Maybe that person have different info from you or know certain things that other don't over a situation.Β

Surely it couldn't possibly be Dolan's development has been stunted here ?

I mean we could never contemplate that could we, the possibility that try and keep possession was the main thing drilled into them everyday.

When did Rovers last actually have a crossing style of play and when did we last have an actual target man ?

2 weeks today the transfer window will be closed.Β

If we do not sign 3 players of championship quality, to go straight into the starting eleven we will be as good as down by the next window in January.Β

Can I see it? no the judgment of the people in the scouting system is flawed , that is if we have one and not just random guys looking at videos from home.Β

I expect Travis and Hyam to leave within the next fortnight.Β

So that probably means 5 signings.Β

Desperate times, we need administration at least then the Venkys will have to go πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

This is a huge week for the club, we need to get at least 2 attacking players in before Hull otherwise the rot will set in.

You cant skimp on the attacking players either, skidmarks from the Romanian 2nd division won't do.

Stanisfield and Dyke made the difference on Saturday, and Gelhardt and McBurnie wil do the same next week. All players we have actually heard of with Championship experience and it shows on the pitch.

Travis will be gone this week more than likely i presume they are just bartering about the add ons.

Hyam i think is almost guaranteed to just see the season out and walk for free in summer he'll have plenty options if he stays fit, can't see anyone offering a worthwhile fee for him now.

"Different people have left for different reasons."

Aye, absolutely no pattern in us not offering deals with any proactivity and when we finally get round to it, not at the going rate for a Championship player.

Might well be a "good man". Not that you would have any idea either way from a few posts on a message board.

He is 100% on X though and I do find his take of all players leaving being "rats and snakes" and everything this regime do is wonderful very strange though. Also disagreeing with everything the Coalition is trying to do.

So again, I do wonder who this chap really is.

Anthony lit up la Liga last season. He was outclassed and struggled against conference and league two teams in the cups in EnglandΒ

Last season when we had a 6'5" CF.

Still no progress on a signing according to Ismael.

Lots of excuses for the first 2 losses, well 3 but Ismael refusing to count the cup one. Im sure he would count it had we beat the mighty Bradford.

Players at the top end of the pitch cost more money, that's why it hasn't been sorted.

Any attacking signings will go until the last few days of the window, when clubs start to finalise there squads.

Hoping to pick someone out of favour up on the cheap who might miss out on being registered by there club.

Joe Rothwell left because his wife wanted to live on the South Coast (since gone to Leeds)Β

It's was you who posted that info. Slagging your own info off there. 🀣

His wife and children didn't move to Leeds with him. Did an interview during the season confirming that he lived on his own in Leeds

Why is the market "strange?"

All of these situations with players contracts were predictable and are entirely of our own making. We cant use them as excuses. I remember being told to "stop going on about" the situations but they were always going to be the main overriding issue in this window.
