Anyone with sense can see we have drastically regressed off the back of it. I'm not confident saying we've drastically regressed until I've seen the players actually play. 1 Quote

Then he became a decent defender but still wasn't fit to lace the boots of many others that have played CB for us. Batth was the better player of the two. Yet Gestede, the (dick) Head of Football has somehow managed to turn an average player leaving into a crisis. The posts coming out of Derby would suggest it's Batth missing Hyam rather than the other way round. Quote

At least Chaddy has had the sense to go into self-imposed exile for a bit rather than try to justify this window. Edited 1 hour ago by Hasta 1 1 Quote

Early days still, but it might possibly be the case that this is possibly one season too far for Batth. If it is who cares? the only thing that matters from our point of view is that he was excellent for us last year - a lot better than Hyam was - end of. Hyam has also struggled badly in the past alongside other partners, primarily Carter. I couldn't really give a shiney shite how either of them do for their new Clubs tbh, they're not our players any more. Quote
Emerald Isle Rover Posted 2 minutes ago Posted 2 minutes ago Our other closest season to playoff hyam got player of the year So that’s a player of the year season and I’d argue a top 5 performer last season in our team the near relegation year everybody bar szmodics were awful Quote
