There's a difference between dripping genuine info out and club propaganda to protect certain people.

We've no idea which it is but it's likely one of the two and the constant 'refused to play' seems to be the standard line chucked out. I can't see anyone in their right mind actually expecting Travis to play yesterday.

How long before he's tweeting 'Sonny refused to play' or 'Dom refused' ?

Most of us would have crawled over broken glass to pull on that shirt and run out at Ewood. Just saying.

Regarding Baath - Once you reach his age you can β€œ go β€œ at anytime. It can happen in the time from the end of one season to the beginning of the next.

But we wouldn't crawl over broken glass into work if we were starting a new job on more money the week after.

At least that's how most footballers will see it because that's all it is to them.

I don’t agree with the 1 player needed. As a minimum for me it’s:

keeper (or use pears as number 2)

centre back

centre mid (when Travis goes)

right wing

proper striker (Β£3-Β£4m man)

Pears did warm up with the keepers yesterday so I think his time here is coming to end.Β

a right winger is a must. Hopefully this week. Another forward

You can’t have it both ways .. say theirs no club communication then have a rant when they do it …..Β

If it’s good enough for Posh and their chairman am glad we have one too … Heads should take a bow …..

You make an excellent point

I remember Mulgrew going like that. I haven't seen the Derby Coventry goals but Derby fans don't seem happy with him. Has his legs gone?Β

he was`nt to blame on his own, coventry front line were quick and inventive, looked to me that the whole derby side is slow, that was their undoing

Saying it from last season, a successful partnership is never down to one of the players.Β

.......Although if it was one of our new players it'd be far too early to judge them!

I agree, we're only 2 games in, although it isn't me judging him, it's Derby fans. The partnership point still stands though .Β Β

Aside from all the doom and gloom, and the inevitable sale of Trav to Derby, have there been any links with new signings? Any ITKs have a scoop?

Departures too for that matter, we won't sign anyone new while Pears, Buckley etc are taking up Pasha's precious wage budget

He made a terrible point for the reasons I outlined on the page before this. Official club communication from a publicly known figure is extremely different to releasing titbits through an anonymous account. The second comes across very shifty, partly as the club can deny anything from that account if it backfires.

Can anyone explain to me the whole snake thing? How many players have to leave before we reassess which party are the snakesΒ

No one who leaves is a snake, it’s extremely weird and it’s making us look like absolute fools, don’t blame anyone for wanting to leaveΒ

European right winger we've watched recentlyΒ

A bitter insider posting transfer updates and painting players leaving as bad professionals whilst journalists are banned from asking certain questions is NOT good communication.

You would either have to be unwilling to criticise the club, a bit stupid or have a vested interest at the club to suggest otherwise.

Sorry but that’s rubbish. It’s a gradual decline unless Β you’ve had a massive injury, bored of this excuse for players. Are you seriously saying, you go the to gym in may, by the time August arrives you can’t do what you used to do and you’re a shadow of your former self? garbage.

its willingness, mentality etc.

OK , if you say so pal. Good enough for Scotland though.

Scotland are terrible pal. Hanley played for Scotland. I feel like I’m coming across ad having a go at you and I’m not so apologise if that’s how it’s come across pal. I just don’t sign up to that theory, we all have different opinions I suppose, that’s why we are here.Β

And yet... We've never come close to replacing his set pieces. It's been a massive gap in every iteration of the team since he departed.

Mulgrew and Downing were quite a pair in that regard

I tendΒ  not to believe anything anyone says until it happens,on either "side" of the argument.
